This show was so awesome. It's a shame Les had to cancel, but I don't blame him. I am sure he would have stayed on a little bit longer if he didn't have to lug around the camera gear himself, but that's what made his show unique. He did EVERYTHING himself, but what a toll that must have taken on an already worn out body. Good to see he is coming back. I have yet to see, nor do I care to see, anything with Bear Grylls.

I love how he films himself walking miles out into the distance knowing that he has to walk all the way back to fetch the camera.

I don't know how I survived without this show. This is the greatest show in the world. Les also seems like a much nicer guy than Bear. And he also has much more respect for the animals, and the nature. :)

He's got a new show called beyond survival, that is on air now. It seems to be about various exotic cultures. All I can say is good thing he didn't start a fishing show.

Yea he quit the show cuz he said it really takes a toll on his mind as well as his body. And it would. I think he should do more but have someone with him at least. Being alone is a terrible feeling

the king browns are realy known as mulga snakes they are not brown snakes there part of the black snake family. The reason this is important to know is if u get bit by one n make it to the hospital  n say u were bitten by a brown snake they will give u the wrong anti venom u need black snake anti venom or........u dead

@spaded01 Yes, sadly. As Les did all of his survivalist scenarios for real (no camera crews, catered meals, or hotel rooms) the physical toll on his body was starting to wear him down and as he's pushing 50 he decided it was time to call it a day. He still hosts a couple of other shows on survivalist subjects, though...he's just done with spending several weeks a year starving and sleeping on rocks.
