Fallout: New Vegas XP/Stimpack/Infinite Caps Glitch!

I have a problem people... I have a ps3, I also deleted the patches for the new vegas. However every time I start the game, my system starts to download the game data ( I found out that the "game data" download is the patch for the glitches) and have no clue to resolve this issue. Any positive advice is welcome and much appreciated thank you all!

U have to go to memory then go to new Vegas then delete the title update

every time i try to clear my cache it says i do but it doesnt delete the patches

thanks... i deleted the patch from my xbox's hardrive (cleared the cache) and leveled up

well when it says he over louded the power plant THATS A BIG CLUE ON HOW TO DO THE QUIST

You have to finish the quest in a specific way.  You should have mentioned that you HAVE to choose to route power to the entire region when you configure the mainframe. I chose to route to the Strip and the plant didn't overload, thus I don't have the option of telling the scientist that I overloaded it.

@JeremyV1 *If your on the xbox 360, you can clear your cache. I don't know about the PS3.
