  • only people from sodom dislike this video.

  • BRUTAL AS FUCK xxHAILSATANxx

  • even though i'm atheist, i love this song

  • @Necrumonger What does being atheist have to do with loving a song or not? ^_^ I think the bands talent is more then enough. Atheism is different then arrogance. If somebody hates a band cause there religion I think that says a lot more about the person then the music.

  • best version of this song

  • This is the heaviest, and sickest band I have ever listened to, and it's Christian...does that even make any sense??

I thought Cannibal Corpse was heavy and sick

  • Oh gosh this song is beautiful.

  • the best version of this song right here!!!!! HE BLED AND DIED TO TAKE AWAY MY SIN!!!!!

  • Now this is how metal was intended to be......(Christian) :D

  • LOVE ITT!! -3 epic eargasm. God bless!

  • BTA has ended the set with this song every time I've been to see them (except the first time, of course, several years before Dichotomy was written). Few songs by ANY band are a better way to end a set \m/

  • how did you made this video? Whith which program?

  • @JusTVIDSE This is made with Sony Vegas Pro 9.

  • OH I LOVE THIS BREAK-DOWN!!!! <3 3:00

  • @SuckxMyCandyCane Thank you. :))

  • @rjtagayon Actually, I was talking about the song. Your video is amazing. :3

If I could make videos like this, I would be making them left and right.

  • @tylerd7787 He isn't in it.

  • The intro got me to stop reading Mockingjay and listen. \m/ (>.<) \m/

  • so lets stop the fighting on these comments and lets give praise where praise is due, whether it is to God for the inspiration or for the musicians for the overall performance and intensity of the song. if you have any comments to what i have said please send me a personal message and i will answer there but as for the comments i am done. please take into consideration what i have said fellow christians.

  • christians, lets not forget the way to bring others to christ, you must bring them through understanding and love, not judgement and yelling the fact that without God they will burn in hell. we all deserve that. regardless if you are charles manson or mother theresa. those who do not know have the right to say so and what we must do is pray that one day their hearts and eyes may be opened. i apologize on behalf of those who seem to ram it down others throats. this song is awesome for everyone.

  • @pibom1 I agree.... We need to do everything we do through love and compassion.. Not force.. How can we speak of love and peace when we are screaming of Hell and Damnation?

  • @pibom1 tell it like it is man. those are some of the greatest words of preaching i've ever heard. god bless you and it's good to know you know what it means to be a christian and how to spread the word of God Almighty the correct way

  • @hallster101 Or, they just try to hide it haha

  • if you guys like this you should listen to the band "theocracy" and their song "laying the demon to rest"

  • Check out redemption by august burns red its another metal hymn and it is epic, these are the bands that you've got to love and prove everybody wrong that metal is not for satanists... fuck satanists

  • Wow this was amazing defanatly touched me good job on the video too!

  • lol its sorda wierd that the lead singer works at jc penys at the mall of georgia lol but hes a great singer god bless

  • the best christian metal cover ever o.0

  • Just goes the way it wants "modern and olde is ONE!"Never learning anything other than filthy lucre.

  • this is awesome.

  • christian metal is like a girl fartiing

  • @hallster101 Yeah, it's rare. :)

  • @rjtagayon Not really.. Check out Demon Hunter, War of ages, As I lay dying, The Devil Wears Prada, August burns red, Haste the day.. And there's several others...

  • @Killacookie95 don't forget For Today. They're my favorite with As I lay Dying.

  • @ImUncreative100 I'll have to look into them :D

  • @rjtagayon Hmm. I know a lot of "Christian Metal". I don't find it rare. What I *DO* find rare is when they sing a hymn like this one. :P lol

  • @777MasterMind777 check out redemption by august burns red

  • @JohnBrooks9995 I LOVE THAT SONG.

  • @hallster101 unless you love Jesus

  • @hallster101 And saying:" God has a Son is satan!"It isn't a Doctrine in scripture. The did the Mohammad,Joseph Smith and JW thing...And Broke the Command of God!

  • This ought to wake the old biddies up at the back of church!!! It's great to hear a hymn in a form that I can enjoy!! :) Much love for this!

  • Ooook, I dont listen to screamo rock, but they missed up this song. :(

  • @wessnyder117 They're not screaming :L So it's not screamo. And how did they mess the song up?

  • @heavygunz301 I don't know, I guess I'm used to the softer versions.

  • @wessnyder117 It's people like you that make me roll my eyes. First off, screamo is a bunch of self-righteous people that dress in stupid skinny jeans and flip they're hair like douches. Second, since you don't even know metal when you hear it you have no right to say that they messed up.

  • @GodWarrior7771 I cant tell the difference between the two and I'm used to the slower version.

  • @GodWarrior7771 And also, this is my first time to listen to heavy metal.

  • @wessnyder117 so you really don't have to say they messed this song up, cos it's your first time and probably you're still not accustomed to this. just sayin'

  • @rjtagayon True, true

  • @wessnyder117 Okay, I apologize for my outburst I mistook you for another kind of person, well at least you have a chance to listen to more. Get a taste for it! (I recommend: As I Lay Dying, Mychildren Mybride, Demon Hunter, August Burns Red, Living Sacrifice, etc.)

  • @GodWarrior7771 Is ok, AugustBurns Red I have heard of and Demon Hunter too, I just didn't know they were metal.

  • Epic band, Epic song!

  • THis is the best version of this song available

  • Cool lyrics and editing dude. I love this band!

  • PRAISE GOD!!! :)

  • thumbs up if you got chill bumbs thank the lord for this day

  • Let GOD save the agnostics and the atheists, then let them get full through eating their words when the God they've denied would be their savior. This should end the argument.

  • @rjtagayon Thank you. This is beautiful.

  • @rjtagayon Save us from what exactly? Hmm?

  • I do not really want to see the world go to its end. But if it's the only thing that could keep atheists and believers from fighting then I'd be happy to see the non-believers, the doubters, and the Christians see what's real. Atheists say God does not exist, that is because they know the word "believe" but not the word "faith". That's what atheists lack, there are things that can only be seen through the lens of faith.

  • @rjtagayon it isnt that atheists dont know what faith is or it's practice use but they are angry at GOD and choose willingly to stick their thumb in HIS eye.

  • @rjtagayon Actually Athiests have enormous amounts of faith.. Blind faith in the ideas that they've made up themselves.. forcing them to deny the truth and the facts that Christians so naturally see... Faith in the Truth.. Its much easier to have faith in the truth then the lies..

  • @rjtagayon Haha yes I agree.. Faith in Christ gives us our sight..:)

  • @rjtagayon you know if you think about it atheists also require some sort of faith. they have faith in what they have been taught by the world. meaning that they believe theories and philosophy rather than in the Creator.

  • @mexmetal15 Yes, but what i mean about what i said is spiritual faith.

  • i went to their concerts during life fest in wisconsin. i asked my mom to go because why not, but she said she wanted to go to a worship concert.... now let me ask just because its loud means its not worship? wen i worship the whole city block is gonna hear it CAN I GET AN AMEN!!!!!!!!

  • @perboscious AMEN! :D

  • @perboscious amen

  • God doesn't exist. Just sayin'.

  • @SpearMinti Yes, we know - you're a very unique, sophisticated, intelligent individual because you're an atheist. Congratulations. You must be like the only atheist in the world. Aren't you so cool... You must be like the most clever and thoughtful person on the planet. **sarcasm** >.<

There's no need to troll on other people's beliefs to make yourself look cool. I'm not Christian either, but this is a great Christian band. Learn to respect beliefs other than your own, friend.

  • @8Metaphysicist8 No. I won't respect the beliefs of others. I have no reason to respect 'belief' at all. 'Belief'' is in no way a good thing, and therefore I do not respect it.

On a side note, your sarcasm wasn't very good.

  • @SpearMinti You won't respect the beliefs of others? My friend, you harbor negative feelings for religion yet you're one of the most dogmatic people I've ever heard open their mouth. Bear in mind that if you don't respect other people and what they believe, there's hardly a chance they will do the same for you. You too, have a system of beliefs. Belief is not synonymous for religion.

It's insulting how self-righteous you are, as if you had some superior knowledge. What grade are you in?

  • @SpearMinti ..And what I mean by "respect the beliefs of others" is to be tolerant of other people's opinions and philosophies even if they differ from your own - that means don't be rude and antagonizing to people who are different than you (in other words, don't be prejudiced). You don't have to accept their beliefs, but at least be a considerate person and respect their right to believe in whatever philosophy or religion they choose, as you have this same right which deserves respect.

  • @8Metaphysicist8 I'm not talking about actual beliefs, but rather belief ITSELF, which is, again, in no way a good thing, so I find no reason to respect it. I have no tolerance for belief and faith in much the same way I have no tolerance for antisemitism, for example. I find the idea to be detrimental to those who hold it. You seem to be asserting that all "opinions and philosophies" are equal. This is simply not the case. Many provoke violence and hate, others promote ignorance and bigotry.

  • @SpearMinti That's fine, you don't have to accept religion, but at least be kind and respectful to those who hold those beliefs. Trolling a Christian video by saying "God doesn't exist. Just sayn'" is obviously motivated by your desire to mock, humiliate, and provoke those who believe Christianity. Your condescending remark is not impressive, and it's just as prejudiced at antisemitism. You're making a joke of what some people hold dearly. Have your opinions, but be respectful of people.

  • @8Metaphysicist8 Yes. I was trying to mock and provoke. Again, no, I won't be kind and respectful to those who hold those beliefs. I wholeheartedly disagree with those beliefs. I see them as evil and dangerous.

  • @SpearMinti I understand that you disagree with religion, as I do too, friend (but for different reasons; I don't believe in the theology). But I don't understand what good you're trying to accomplish by being hateful toward those who believe in religion. If anything, we need to show compassion and treat them as equal human beings, for we are no better than these people are. These people are human beings just as we are, and they deserve the same amount of respect as we do.

  • @SpearMinti Your hateful, chauvinistic attitude is the essence of evil and danger. By your philosophy, it is acceptable to hate and humiliate anyone who believes in something different than you. You are inspiring and encouraging prejudice and self-righteousness. Your ideas bear a great likeness to Adolf Hitler, for he believed that the Jews deserved no respect or consideration as human beings because of who they were.

What good do you think you're doing the world by condoning such immorality?

  • @8Metaphysicist8 You don't really understand what it is I disagree with. I am in no way prejudiced towards Christians or any religious person or group. If I dislike them, it has nothing to do with their beliefs, but rather their actions. I do, however, have 'prejudices' (I use the term loosely) against the way these people think, or allow themselves to think. It is the religion (or belief) ITSELF that I detest. I'm not exactly Hitler. I wouldn't harm anyone or attempt to stop these beliefs.

  • @SpearMinti That's good to know. Your statements were misleading since you said "...no, I WONT BE KIND AND RESPECTFUL to those who hold those beliefs." Your statement implied that you condone mistreating people who believe in religion. But, if you truly don't condone atheists mistreating theists, then you would not agree that it is morally acceptable to insult and mock them, for that kind of negative behavior only causes social tension and hatred to arise.

  • @8Metaphysicist8 You harm with your tongue, the most deadly of weapons.

  • @GodWarrior7771 To what are you referring; what did I say? I don't mean to offend, but as every human, I sometimes become subjective in frustration. In the previous comments here, I was defending religious people's right for respect. Although I'm not religious, I believe all humans deserve an equal amount of respect -- as they are humans. I replied to a comment which claimed inferior religious people don't deserve respect or any moral consideration. I was bothered by the lack of humanity.

  • @8Metaphysicist8 Sorry, I meant it for Spearminti, I must have accedentally clicked on your response instead of his.

  • @8Metaphysicist8 It's ironic that a 'hateful, chauvinistic attitude' is exactly what religion promotes. Holy texts provoke 'self righteousness', although this results in murder, destruction and segregation.

No, I do not believe that religion is the cause of all the worlds problems. However, many of them are a direct result of religious belief, as that is the vehicle that is used to justify and encourage them. As a result, I do not respect religious belief. ANY religious belief.

    Peace.

  • @SpearMinti Even if religion did inspire a "hateful, chauvinistic attitude," you are still not justified in retaliating in the same manner. If you disapprove of a certain religious group's behavior, then you should not act hatefully toward them (as you do by mocking them), but instead show tolerance and open-mindedness to demonstrate peace. Being a jerk and insulting religious people only makes you look just as bad as them. Behave modestly and display humility.

  • @SpearMinti You believe in the air you breath, the ground beneath your feet, and the blood in your veins. Belief is a good thing, and it is the best when God is in the equation, otherwise you're just another brainless ape walking about a floating chunk of rock in space. Get some perspective.

  • @GodWarrior7771 No I don't. I don't believe in any of those things. I know they are there. I know what purpose they serve, due to the research and understanding of others. I know that they exist.

Ultimately, that's all we are. We are apes walking about a floating rock in space. We do (or at least most of us) have brains. How can you deny this? What is so terrifying about that? How is that not beautiful? You've merely highlighted how belief is a means to ward off fears of the unknown.

  • @SpearMinti I don't think you could have said a more perfect definition for belief than what you just said. "I know they are there." knowing is identical to belief. The way I do not think that being an ape walking aroubd on a rock of space is beautiful... it kind of explains itself. There'd be no point, if we were accidents in some bizzare chemical reaction rather than the carefully crafted being of intelligent design I would not want to exist. There is proof of intelligent design, look for it.

  • @8Metaphysicist8 No single human conceptualisation has caused more violence, bloodshed and suffering than the idea (belief) in the existance of a deity (or deities). It provides a hard logical thought pathway to ordinary, moral people backing damaging and amoral ideas or actions. People who claim to be doing such things/spreading such ideas with the justification of their 'God' do so because these people's beliefs allow them to be justified.

  • @SpearMinti It is not ideal to blame all the world's problems on religion when the real problem is in ourselves. We humans don't like to admit we're flawed idiots; we'd rather blame it on religion, politics, and society - and that's one of the most ignorant mistakes to make, friend. I'm not Christian either, but I've read most holy texts they do not condone our vulgar behaviors you describe.

"...the fault is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings." -Julius Caesar

  • @8Metaphysicist8 For your information, my position (atheism) IS NOT A BELIEF. IT IS A REJECTION of belief. I have REJECTED the idea of a deity, and view the world according to how I see it, not how I am told a God, (one of tens of thousands created by the human mind, each one as implausible as the next) "wants me to".

I am also not American, and therefore in no grade.

I look forward to your reply.

  • @SpearMinti You believe there is no God. That's a major belief there, to reject the existence of a God that loves you enough to die for you in the most horrible way to die. And then rose three days later. Your rebellion is not of reason, nor is my belief of ignorance. I'm not asking you to respect my faith in Christ Jesus, because frankly, I don't respect your belief of disbelief. But that is because I'm only human and so are you, can a man judge a man? We are all bad judges.

  • @GodWarrior7771

your right but God said "love thy neighbour"

you have an opportunity to help this nonbeliever and if he does not wish to be saved then so be it

  • @lopyz12 I understand that I must love this person, but that does not mean I must candy him up with things he wants to hear. Sometimes debating is the only way to help people like this (unless he just completely shuts out everything, then no one but Christ can help him).

  • @SpearMinti The large majority of the people who have ever lived have been wrong about the very fundamental questions of life?

  • @Iceman3524 Yes.

  • Dude.. This Was AWESOME!

Ha PLAY THIS AT CHURCH CAMP! lol

  • wow, this is an ANGRY PRAISE. a VIOLENT HYMNAL!

  • this is probably the most epic metal hymn cover ever!!!!

  • GOING TO SEE THEM TOMAROW!! GOING TO BE CRAZY!

  • They should have a concert here in the Philippines.. :D God Bless all..

  • OH MY sweet JEEZUZ IM IN LOVE WITH THIS song

anyone get the "i love this song " chills? :D

  • @BowSucka Dude! I get hose all the time and this is definitely one of those times!

  • wow, nice timing, real nice video, for a REAALLYY NICE song :3

  • i must admit, im not much for the screamer music, and deep growls......but.....EPIC!

  • @narib414 I agree. It's hard for me to take screamer music seriously, but it praises the Lord, so it's music to His ears. That's truly all that matters.

  • ya, Jesus diggs the metal

  • @rjtagayon It's all good, nice work, nonetheless

  • They lyrics are "When Christ shall come WITH (not I'll) shout of acclamation"

  • look up sleeping giant if you love these guys, even more brutal and epic christian metal with lyrics that scream praises to the most high!

  • @fearhisnameforever

Sleeping Giant is incredible. I have had the privilege to meet those guys and they are legit in their love for the Lord. Solid men and solid metal. Also, check out For Today if you like pretty in your face Christian Messages in metal, as well as War of Ages if you are not introduced to them.

  • i showed this to my mom and she jumped when the intro ended!! XD

  • I am an atheist.

And I tapped the thumbs up button. Why can't more Christians be like these guy?

  • I love these guys. And the fact they made a cove of a hymn, is just awesome

  • @xheavensxfuryx So true! :)

  • i've been listening to BTA for a few yrs now and i still get excited when i here them! i can't not listen to raw talent and honour for God and sit still. There's nothing wrong with being a hardcore Christian. i LOVE BTA!

  • i dont know if its just my eyes or if the words in the very beginning are messed up but it's like looking at something 3D without the glasses.

  • This is awesome. I only realized it was classic hymn halfway through the song.

  • Praise Jesus there are people with this type of talent worshiping and praising Jesus!

  • I like this song. But bands like this should not ruin hymns and other songs like them.

  • @Bunboy4life i do not think they it ruined at all. they dragged in a new audience to praise God. i doubt many people knew it was a hymn, anyway. that's my opinion, though. you don't have to agree with it if you don't want to

  • @2point0anonymous that would be a bunch of angels flappin their wings while head banging! :)

  • jus imagine the mosh pit to this song in heaven. praise God it would be AWESOME

  • please come to christmas rocknight 2011!! ill be there PLEASE<3!!

  • please come to christmas rocknight 2011!! ill be there PLEASE<3!!

  • I've seen a few heavy metal bands.. and they dont know how to control their tongues... This my friends is awesome! No swearing nothing.. Singing about stuff pure and TRUE

  • @Godsgirl1996nov You betcha. Do you know of any female metal singers that scream like this band does, but for the Lord? I found one female screamer, but the band's satanic.

P.S. love your user name. I'm a fellow Child of God. Does your (user)name state the month and the year you got saved?

  • @Caleb7557 It was the year & month i was born, but I was also baptised in Nov :)

  • @Caleb7557 My name is the band I plan on making soon =D

  • @Caleb7557 What band is it that's satanic? Are you talking about Arch Enemy?

  • @DescentFromHeaven No, Straight Line Stich. They had some good songs(good as in pleasant to the ears, not the message).

  • @Caleb7557 ohhh haha. I've heard that Arch Enemy is suppposed to be "satanic".. I have listened to several songs and I can't see what they are talking about. Ravenous is supposed to be brutal, but I don't see the satanic side.. Sure, it IS BRUTAL, but I see a christian message a little bit in it.

  • @DescentFromHeaven I'm sorry if I confused you man, but I was talking solely about Straight Line Stich. Not Arch Enemy and Ravenous.

  • @Caleb7557 I wasn't confused. But look at "unanswered" by Suicide Silence... That's clearly a bash on christians. "I hope that God strikes me down right here"... Yeah. Thats sarcasm.

  • @daBscout111 they should, and they should go here in the Philippines next :))

  • @rjtagayon I'm with you bro! :))

  • @Devotedone901 Filipino? :)

  • @rjtagayon yes

  • @rjtagayon WOOT! good to hear that my fellow pinoys are listening to BTA hehe... :D

  • These peeps should SERIOUSLY be at Winter Jam 2012

  • This proves that not all Metal Bands are atheist/Satanic

  • @UnicornSlaya Sony Vegas Pro 9 :D

  • Dude what program did you use to make this? Very cool...

  • The most brutal hymn ever!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome song and vid,Hallelujah, blessed be thy name Father!!!!

  • Ho-ly crap

  • Praise Him...i love this song.

  • Psalm 150:3-4: "Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; praise Him with high sounding cymbals!"

  • @SCRAMBY18

Praise Him with huge electric guitar riffs and crazy distortion. Praise Him with massive bass guitar licks pounding at your chest. Praise Him with the biggest drum kit you can imagine. Praise Him with heroic vocals piercing through the air.

With every last breath... Praise the LORD!

  • @PCRtje I LOVE that poster!
