@josecarrillo10000000 yes I wrote a program a while ago that cracks SHA1 with salt. If you still want to do this, PM me. If your password is longer than 8 digits it's not going to be easy to crack. If its any longer than 8 digits it could take months or even years to crack.
@josecarrillo10000000 You still having problems with your password? Download an .iso file called Kon-Boot, burn it to a CD and restart your computer. It'll reset your password.
this may be off topic but does anyone know how to remove the content off my time machine fully. i really want to know how to remove stuff off my EXTERNAL hdd.
Ok, here's what you do, open the folder where the file is in Finder. Then go into time machine. In the finder window in time machine, right click the file and select "Delete all backups...". That deletes all the backups.
so say i wanted to refresh my HD this command would do it... then i would just boot from my install disks right? then all of everything is gone from my HD forever... and i could like I said reinstall OSX from my disks?....
There would be no problem reinstalling OS X on that drive, but I would recommend doing an "erase & install" in the options. If you have privacy concerns, you could do a multi-pass erase using Disk Utility from the reinstall disc. It's probably overkill, but it would certainly ensure your data is gone.
If you are working with a healthy hard drive, that command will not cause a hardware malfunction. At most, it will cause a logical error in the directory as it deletes files that are being used (in which case, a standard format will fix). It's also not a dangerous command unless you DON'T intend on deleting everything. But, at that point, it's a very silly command, when you could just use a boot disk to wipe the drive.
Thanks a lot but like I said please don't try this at home I just want to be clear on that so there are not any accidental damages done to anyone's computer due to me thank you.
What if i had Windows XP & i put in a disk to change to Windows 7? Would it go back to Windows XP?

You would not be able to reinstall OSX on that HD but eventually you could get a new HD and connect it to your computer.

Yeah but still this isn't very safe command and once you run it getting your computer back to normal is a hardware problem mostly.
