it seems to me like all Warmoth guitars reviewed on youtube sounds worser than serial fenders. O.o Is anybody thinks so or it just me? I mean tone. Not sound quality. I dont know, just dont hear sweet fender tone from these Warmoth guitars...
@springjet1 Cuz they're not fenders, they're customs. Most people go with different woods, different bridges, different pickups, and sometimes they don't have a good sounds dialed in yet. Every stock (not artist series) fender guitar can be summed up like this: alder/swamp ash or OCCASIONALLY mahogany body, maple neck, maple/rosewood fingerboard. Granted, Fender has more versatility through their models than Gibson does, but they're pretty much the same materials. Cont...
@springjet1 I've also found that fret size can have a slight impact on tone... not huge, actually barely even noticeable, but I have perfect pitch so... well, it's just a little difference in resonance, is all, really. It just modifies the tone the teensiest bit. I'm half-done a custom warmoth super-tele / super-jazzmaster (can't decide which body shape...), so I'll see how it goes once it's finished, cuz it has stainless steel 6100 frets on it.
Never stated I was good. In fact, I'm not good at all. I started out playing pop punk. You don't get far playing that stuff. But it was fun. This video obviously wasn't to showcase my abilities. It was mainly to show the guitar. It's easy to say it's not good over the internet. I would love to see you and your little 10 year old friends play anything.
I have two friends that play guitar really well, and I'm a drummer because my dad is a professional jazz drum player (not professional as in all over magazines) so he gives me free lessons.
@XvideomaniaczX So you're saying you know somebody who's better? Thats statement is about as meaningful as saying I know somebody who's got a a PS4(not out yet). Big deal. I don't see blink bragging so I don't know why you think its ok to trash him. If you've got nuthin to show that ur better then be quiet. You'll make and keep more friends that way. Otherwise you'll just be another jerk. Just some life advice kid.
Yeah I love the mohogany body. The only thing I I don't care for on this guitar is the inlays. I thought the stars were cool at the time I was ordering the parts but I really wish I would have got the block inlays with the binding for the 70's jazzmaster/jaguar look.
@fender101punk but at the same time fender's are all slapped together and all machine made... it all depends what quality you are looking for. I play both.. I do agree that gibsons are over priced though.
Well, I would call it a custom jazzmaster because it has the 25.5" scale neck and it doesn't have the chrome plates like the jaguar does. I love the jag/jazzmaster shape but just wanted a hardtail bridge and humbuckers. I might try out a Duncan Phat Cat P90 in the future for the bridge.
@blink182fan you were trying to go for the toronado jazzmaster tom delonge plays in AOL Sessions for obvious

Yeah but his is single humbucker not two like his, he just has a single Gibson Dirty Fingers pickup.

The outro; sounds like you forgot the last part to "the hell song." - Awesome playing & nice sound.
