The old testiment has many stories and tales of Israel and its relationship with GOD. Many battles took place where God sided with Israel to protect them when threatened. He also called for anyone who blasphemed against the Qoran to be killed. Just as is happening in Pakistan right now. Mohamad was cunning so he made these laws so that noone may question his writings. In Christianity however we are allowed to question and the bible has stood the test of the ages against historians and skeptics.

And if you bothered to read all of Christ's teachings you would know that he said to Love thy enemy.
