john didnt play navarros songs.. slovak incepted the chili peppers riffs and john was a replacement due to his death, so it is appropriate in due course that john played hilels songs..c'mon under the bridge man, thats john wrtitten all over it!!

@Franyjoss hillel died obviously the replacement for a guitarist was inevitable, this time round john quit the band again.. he refuses to play navarros songs, look the topic on navarro should be treated frivolous because the 2 dont compare, not even in the same breath.. my point is a genuine artist plays there own stuff , as a guitarist myself and a fan of the rhcp I feel their will be a myriad of anti climax with josh.. got nothing against the fella but wont be as big as it was EVA!

@geletmote IDK what do you say that about genuine guitarist, having covers of RHCP in your profile, and not even an original composition, as u say. And i'm guitarist too, and I think that he must play john songs, because its the vast majority of the RHCP songs, because John has been so much time, so I dont know why he couldnt play them...anyway sorry for my english lol

Actually, Under the Brigde is a poem that Anthony wrote when he was deep in drugs. Not John. But in my opnion they should play John's song. They are still friends, specially Josh. But Navarro's song, i dont agree. He had no realationship with John or Josh.
