  • with a pre paid deal it must take such a weight off your shoulders fo know exactly what you need to budget for each month and not have to worry about it fluctuating and popping up with hidden costs all the time. $45 for unlimited minutes, texts and data with stright talk definitely sounds like the way to go..

  • At last my 2 year contract came to an end. Did I renew it - NO, it was costing me a fortune each month. Now I have the freedom of using straighttalk and with the unlimited plan of $45 a month I can talk and text without having to worry about extra charges. I just can't believe how much money I was throwing away on my contract

  • It really is unreal how many cell ohone deals there are out there. When I found out about Straight Talk I just thought that it souded like one that really tries to make life easier for it's customers and cuts out all the rubbish of a contract. All you have to worry about it paying your $45 a month and the rest is taken care of - unlimited texts, calls and data, No cancellatiokn fees and the network is amazing as it uses Verizon.

  • @pashles101 not just verizon but ATT as well, depending on your phone and where you live. This means that no matter what phone you have or where you use it, you will have a huge network supporting your call.

  • We needed a cellphone company that my family and I could depend on and was affordable. We have saved like 800 a year by just making the switch! It really is unbelievable because right now we are getting way better service and call clarity than ever before.

  • I like straight talk because they do not lie to me. With straight talk I really get to see how things are. It seems to me that other companies try to lock you into these bogus contracts so you can't find a better deal. Straight talk is not worried about their service capabilities so they offer no contracts.

  • I'm only paying $45 a month for unlimited calls texts and web service. That's a whole month of prepaid service for only $45 dollars! How much are you paying again?

  • Thanks for sharing...dependability and price is the name of the game. And, Straight Talk has played it right. Now, with the addition of the smart phones, they are really competitive. Not exactly sure, but I believe the ST unlimited plan at $45 is probably at least half of what you would pay for the iphone and you're not stuck in a contract.

  • I hate my contract but I don't know if I should make the switch because I heard Straight Talk doesn't have a smartphone, but I'm reading these comments now and it seems like they just came out with a few. I'll have to look into it.

  • @dolphan127 They actually got two different kinds of smartphones, both by Nokia and one that resembles the iPhone and the other a Blackberry. Basically, they give you no reason to stay on your contract because they just give you the same stuff at a higher price.

  • @nuckyt305 How much cheaper is this plan than an iPhone? I'm looking to upgrade and I thought I was going with them but this has me thinking twice. Is it really just as good in terms of service and features?

  • I think that this is could be a steal as long as you pair it with their Nokia6790 smartphone which basically gives you everything an iPhone does but for 45 bucks a month and no annoying contract. Where else can you get a deal like that?

  • @filmguy786 Does that smartphone really compare to the iphone? in terms of features and whatnot? Really want to ditch my contract when it expires next month and looking for an alternative so if it does ima switch asap.

  • @finsman777 It really does! I had one of the older iphones and was thinking about getting the new one that just came out. I started to do some research and ran into a friend to has the Nokia6790 with Straight Talk. When he told me he was spending just $45 a month I couldn't believe it. I played around with his phone a bit and was absolutely sold!

  • I text and email my friends all day and it only ever costs $45- No extra costs and no limits! Also when I do use it for calls, I never drop any. Would recommend this deal to anyone.

  • @theNandi1 I second that! It's great quality for a great price. Not something i was use to getting from cell phone companies. Plus, now with the add on of smart phones i'm not sure why anyone would stick to those big impersonal cell phone companies.

  • I love the no contract policy with straight talk. I hate signing my life away to some cellphone provider for like 3 years and, not to mention, the cancellation fees are ridiculous! I also am liking the no monthly bills!

  • My mom got really upset when I passed my limit on my other cellphone provider and charged us like $120 extra just on texts! Now with the $45 unlimited plan from straight talk, I can talk and text as much as I want to! Now my mom won't have to pay extra charges or other inconvenience fees because straight talk doesn't have any!

  • well said, i could not agree more. straight talk has unbeaten value for money to offer with their $45 a month deal i am super satisfied. great nationwide cover with the verizon network. no roaming fees, no overages or hidden fees what so ever actually. no contract no more. simple and straight forward prepaid. unlimited talk, text and web access for so little money sounds unbelievable, but it is true. straight is offering this great deal at walmart and i can only recommend it to anyone. love it

  • Being a student I can tell you right now that I have definitely found 1000 better ways to spend that extra $50 I am saving ever since I switched to Straight Talk!

  • Straight Talk really is the best provider with great deals great coverage and great phones! I love ST, it has changed my life with $50 savings every month and no stressing about huge bills arriving at the end of the month.

  • Everyone makes mention of the ST unlimited, but for me and my talking I decided on the $30 1,000 use plan and I'm still saving money and that is great. I'm finally paying the amount I should have paid with other companies and and I have better service quality and free 411 and I've never had that.

  • this Straight Talk deal is by far the best prepaid i could find. straigt forward, no small print in a contract as there is none. for $45 a month i get unlimited talk, text and web access. i can do my traveling around and do not need to fear any additional costs for long distance.also i have not had a single dropped call since i switched to Straight Talk. great service

  • this Straight Talk deal is definately a bargain. For $ 45 a month i get unlimted calls, text and web access. i can have a phone for $19.99 and do not have to worry about any hidden costs. nationwide coverage with undropped calls thanks to verizon. no overage fees. pure fun staying in touch with friends and family, i will never go back to a contract.

  • I have this deal from striaght talk. What a find. Imagine unlimited usage for the month at $45. When I took on this deal I did look around at other deals and this one was by far the best available.

  • Convenience is the key word here. You can order your phone online, pick it up at the nearest Walmart, set up with Straight Talk to have an auto-pay option, AND you can even keep your old phone number! For only $45 a month for unlimited texts, minutes and data usage, this is the best deal around.

  • No, my experience was quite the opposite! Quick activation, no hassles and I've been in cell heaven ever since. They are by far the best service IMO. Everybody else is either too expensive or have crappy coverage.

  • BUYER BEWARE!!! I ordered 2 phones, 2 unlimited cards AND overnight shipping on 02/03/2010. It is now 02/09/2010 SIX days later and I don't have my phones, don't have my shipping info. The customer service is a JOKE, and completely un-helpful! SIX DAYS LATER and I have NOTHING but a reciept for where they TOOK ME for $800.33!!!!!!

  • I've had the Straight Talk plan (unlimited for $45) for a few months now and I STILL think it's the best deal!

The coverage is great & I have had almost no dropped calls whatsoever. I look at my friends with phones from other carriers - they are always struggling with service AND they pay more than me! It sucks to be on a cell contract that's why I love Straight Talk.
