i think Pythagoras upper n lower note monochord idea is not working.

when you push the bridge higher, the notes get closer and the freq get shorter.

the counter lower notes get spread out when the lower freq get lower.

you end up with in-between lower notes vs higher notes.

use a guitar tuner, mark the notes. you will see.
