The supposed Arabic chanting was the most controversial part of the Fire Temple though, so they removed the chanting from future releases/remakes. I think they also removed those symbols that have the crescent moon with the star next to it in later releases because it offended Muslims or something.

@DmanDice Apparently it's because this chanting is in Islam and roughly translates to something along the lines of: "There is no god but Allah".

The name Allah can be quite clearly heard at some points in the chanting as well such as at 2:55, so i guess some people who practice Muslim took offense to this theme (probably due to the fact it plays in a hellish temple) and complained which forced Nintendo to switch out the theme in later OOT cartridges (version 1.2 and later). =\

and just to show you guys i know the actully story..ganodorf revived volg as a sign to the gorons. volg was a dragon who USE to live on death mountiain and ate on gorons from the tribes. the hero of the gorons who carryed the megaton hammer deafeated the evil dragon. link of oot meets up with the son of daurnina sry if i spell it wrong and goes to the fire temple to try to save him and the other gorons.

Actually After reading the manga this temple is the saddest. for thoes who never read it, Link was actully friends with Volvagia. Volvagia was capture as a baby dragon and was being selled in the town market. link saw the saw lil dragon and paid 60 rupees to save him. link brought the dragon to the field to play around with it. Vagia was mean at first but after saving link from a skeleton they became best of friends. Vagia actully spoke and only word he knew was link.

I find the chants rather calming, and I'm atheist. I hold as much respect to honorable Muslims as any other religion. The language is beautiful, what else can I say? The tone fits in well, that is all that should matter, and I'm sure that's what the designers thought.

Ever since every remake of the game (all the way down to the recent 3DS) that one verse containing Allah in it was removed, also the the symbol that was the moon and star (which resembles Turkey was taken down as well) Even in video games, religions still a problem, huh.

The fire temple: Very easy temple if you know what too do from past completions. For newcomers, this temple could strike you as a pain the butt. Overall very cool and easy temple.
