@xxoashley23xxo It's a great honour to have a rabbit flop down like that if you're around. It means that they are so comfortable and happy that they are willing to be as exposed as possible, having their little feet in the air and the belly showing.
Excuse me, rcheliboy, I own and raise English Lops wich happen to be the very first breed of rabbit! They are from the 17th or 18th century I believe. All of the other lops were descendants from the english lop wich was breed to other breeds to get mini lop, holland lop, etc.
I used to have a Lionhead, they're so cute. Its a shame that most rabbits u get as pets are human implemented cross breeds. My mate told me that rabbits don't even naturally have floppy ears
I also heard this was true and a volunteer for the House Rabbit Society told me that lops are especially prone to ear infections because bunnies' ears are supposed to stand up for ventilation. Very cute but sometimes breeding for cuteness is not in the best interest of the health of the animal.
I love your bunny, though. That was a nice flop, so lovable.
Rescues have a tendency to frown on any rabbit breed that is slightly exotic - and they don't understand...like angoras or lops. I have a lop - never an ear infection, if you look close, there is plenty of air goin' in there.
i have one her name is sophie (my popcorn) she is the best thing that happened to me...Brazil o/

Tobey is so cute! Is he a Lionhead/lop mix? His ears sit at "half-mast," just like my foster, Roomba. She's a Lionhead/Angora mix.
