It is so nice seeing how proud you are of your country and soldiers. I share those feelings for Canada and for all who have sacrifice for us to be free. My grandfather and great grandfather both served in the war. I remember many of their stories of the war. It is sad that many people do not enjoy the freedoms of our lands. May there be Peace one day.

May God bless all the men and women in the armed services for putting their lives on the line to protect our nation. From the wounded to the deceased, every veteran deserves much recognition for their selfless act of heroism. I never left Texas, never felt the heat of battle, tasted fear on the back of my tongue. In my Daddy's memory, in the memory of his four brothers and my Mom's brother, who served and are gone now; and for my brother and cousins who are alive today (thank God), I give a grateful salute.
