hey do you guys know if this a 12-bar blues? I don't think so, but then again I don't really get this 12-bar blues

It's in two parts: one on the main (tonic) chord while he tells the story. Then he breaks into a standard 12 bar blues pattern -- like @ 3:01. in this case he follows w/ another 12 bar pattern.

When he plays more than that one chord he's in the pattern, it's that simple.
