An interesting idea. The editing/timing of this video is a little awkward. It's not crisp. The music choice isn't quite right either. It also uses "effects" that TheWineKone never uses (still pictures with a zoom). There are so many departures from his style that trying to 'pretend' it was from him fell flat for me. I would have preferred a more straight-foward tribute.

Hes never done a goodbye video, I think when he does, that it will be safe to assume he will use a different style. It's my perception that his music is always "too much" -- too sentimental, too street, etc. It's over-the-top. I think your choices were actually too ON-TARGET, if you can imagine. They were appropriate (to my ear) rather than over-the-top. Does that make sense? I think WineKone's style is also a lot more SNL-inspired than what you have here. His cuts are crisp and quick, few (if any) fades, few (if any) zooms. You employed methods he never does. So it didn't "feel" like him, you know?

Its true that his music is usually "too much" But since he never made this sort of video, I had to make a few assumptions: he would want, a sad tone, new kind of video, new kind of style or modified style to express the notion of the goodbye. And the slow-mo, the fades and the zooms are the things I chose as a way to portray this. besides, he did say if he made a goodbye video it would look similar to this ;), I get what you mean tho, but there are a lot of quick cuts in the 2ndhalf of video.
