@mediamaster9kalt I take it you mean the majority of Spectrum vids on my channel as you've clearly been turning the pages of my archive before commenting (the "playlist" tells me so), the tunes are from the Sinclair ZX Spectrum home computer and they are all mostly different with a few clones, knock offs and pirated games present, this game actually was one that got ripped off.
@shadow4798 I know, this is awesome, totally defies the limitations but Rob Hubbard was one of those who didn't know the word limitations existed, tunes like this are a prime example of that. Brilliant composer.
The title screen is from the Spectrum version but I think the music is another version of the game. I recently booted this up and whilst the same tune, the version on this video is considerably better which makes me think this may actually be the C64 music (SID chip is a little better than the AY on the 128K speccy).
@takapa76 Its because it came from a AY program rather than straight from an emulator, on a number of occassion the sound is considerable different than reality, in some the difference is huge. There are reasons I no longer use that program, that was a mistake, still one way or another at least we've got the music but lessons were learned.
Once again thanks for uploading the intro for such a classic Speccy 128K game. I loved the Magic Knight series from Finders Keepers to Storm Bringer. The enhanced 128 version was cool. I remember playing this for hours but never got to complete this one. Thanks again for the upload, bring back many happy memories.
@DLiberator78 I recommend you look up a website called the rzxarchive. It has a link to a format of file that shows Spellbound being completed (in spectrum emulators that support the rzx format).
@takapa76 Excellent! Thank you so much for this link. I have been to a few Speccy sites but I didn't know of this one. I will go and check it out sounds exciting. Thanks again. :-)
I always used to get killed by the deadly knightshade room on this game.

It's amazing how beautiful and haunting a song can be, given the obvious limitations at the time.
