  • Would love to see Eric Clapton invite Bill for the next Crossroads.

  • I own "Northern Dreamer" and all the albums they discuss here. Bill Nelson is a genius. Be-Bop Deluxe was the best band of the 1970s. All of his albums, solo, Be-Bop, Red Noise, were ahead of their time and brilliant. And I'm so glad I've got them all. Thanks for this long interview Bill. Wish you'd tour again and come to Canada.

  • Interesting that he identifies Maid in Heaven as one of the 'Be-Bop Jewels', when Rob Birnie played it on Planet Rock the other day he praised it as a perfect song fitting more into less than 3 minutes than many other magnum opuses fit into 20 mins. The world's mist under-rated guitarist - great to see him have a proper full length interview

  • Bill is a brilliant musician

  • Bill Nelson is a Gentleman. His talent, as an artist / musician far exceeds anything manufactured by soulless record companies --- he won't even bash them! Based on parts of this interview, all he is interested in is creating everyday and everyday brings something new!! What an true inspiration to all of us. Thank you Mr. Nelson for your work. Good Job with the interview Mark!

  • Bill Nelson !!!!! Genius :) - Chimera Album, The Love That Whirls Album..... 'Another Day Another Ray Of Hope' - 'Flaming Desire' - 'Eros Arriving' check this guy out..... he made some amazing electronic music in the early 80's :-)

  • @kvfive making amazing electronic music today...........

  • DINOSAUR, GENIUS!!!!

  • A great muscian, so underated , so many great albums - my favourite is drastic plastic so fresh at the time.

  • Does it get cooler than Bill? What a class act. The most gracious and talented musician I have ever seen.

  • So great to see Bill again! What a genius! I saw him play in 1976, in Los Angeles, at the height of his success with BBD. I'll cherish that experience forever. Another 40 creative prosperous joyful years Bill!!

  • Good interviewer too...he asks, then listens, unlike self-promoting twats like Jonathon Ross who constantly interrupts in order to get his feeble jokes in!

  • AS humble and modest as it's possible to be.

  • This is wonderful. I love Bill Nelson and his work. Its so nice to see an interview like this because there are so few. Thanks for this.

  • Awesome! Thanks so much for posting!

  • A most pleasurable interview, may I wish Bill a most creative and remarkable 2012. Shine on you crazy diamond.

  • Brilliant ARTIST forever

  • Uh-oh! You tagged the Bill Nelson interview with "Be Bob De Luxe". Go easy on the tipple and you might get your p rightside up. I like this. Much more substance than the 3-minute fluff that passes for an interview on 'official' TV.
