3:30 - Mind blown. What an epic song. What a perfect album. I adore Iron Maiden since my early childhood but Chemical Wedding beats most of their work. There's just something about every song on the album which makes it so superior as a whole. Not to mention Bruce's perfect performance in both singing and songwriting, along with Roy Z. Z and Adrian make up a remarkable guitar combination, which is why Tyranny of Souls, although being an exceptional album, can never beat this masterpiece.

This song is fantastic and shows the mastery of Bruce's storytelling. All of these songs tell a story and the are linked to a common theme. The song's reference to Chemical Wedding brings tears to my eyes, all things in this world come full circle.

Bruce Dickinson is a hell of a musical talent...I love all Iron Maiden stuff and his solo projects...I would be inclined to say however that I agree with janusego on this one...Geoff Tate is onthe same level with Bruce when it comes to writing, and blows him out of the water on vocals...Mindcrime is good...I actually prefer Rage for Order.

My dorky friends and I did a 3 year survey where we rated every metal album which came out between 1968- 2005 ....we took the cumulitive scores and this album ranked #3...it's absoluitely out of nowhere and fucking brilliant. This song gives me chills everytime. 'Accident of Birth' was around #75 all time. Highest Maiden was obviously '# of the Beast' #8 ....#1 you ask: "Operation MIndcrimne' followed closly by 'Master of Puppets'. I know we got to get a life...
