I hope the bike was warm before you did this.. High compression gasoline engines need to be warmed up or engine damage is eminent.. I make it a habit to at least have the temp come off "LO" and my bike still runs perfect after 45k miles and I do ride it hard and take it to the track I just take care of it..
when it does give out I'm swapping a 09 motor, gearbox, ecu and gauge cluster into it.. =] and I'm building the stock block for something else..

why were you in such a hurry?? you didnt give the bike even time to burn it off.. it was still smoking b4 you killed the motor...
