  • GREAT commercial I didn't have to understand the language to get the idea

  • As a passenger public transport, VW bus, was widely used in Mexico City for many years, where they were called "Peseros", because the trip originally costed one Mexican Peso. Drivers of this vehicles were infamous for his imprudence. As a fact, actually public transport in Mexico, by bus, it has a cost between five and ten pesos, (60 cents, to 1.50 u.s. dollars).

    Paul

  • yeah like there were so many minivans b4 the dodge but the first was the 1933 scout scarb

  • dodge invented the mini van , vw invented the mini bus , thats why its called the Volkswagen bus , and in some cases mini bus , but VW themselves call it and classify it as a bus.

  • @falshami - Mopar may have introduced the minivan for the 1984 model year. However, the VW Bus, which was internally called "Type 2" and officially called "Transporter", was around for decades before that. The only difference was that VW had a rear engine & rear wheel drive, while Mopar did everything up front. My mom had a '66.

I remember seeing an antique 1952 VW bus which had a factory center-mounted third brake light, 34 years before they were required for passenger cars on U.S. roads!

  • That was sweet dude. I love V.W

  • cool

  • The VW van was designed by Dutch Volkswagen importer Ben Pon!!! Something the Dutch can be proud of...

  • und auch Werkzeuge dazu.. lol

  • Amazing....around 50 years old and yet its able to keep up with the times. Can't say that about many things.

  • was this one of the best-selling vw buses?

  • das ist kultig:) Tooooll^^ Ich möchte auch einen VW-Bus:) Die Dinger sind einfach unglaulich praktisch;)

  • There goes my wallet opening again but this time it's gonna sting! I love them, always have, and always will!

  • Der ist ja echt schick aber auf der Autobahn, wo die meisten 140 - 200 Km/h fahren, hätte ich mit dem Bus angst.

  • fantastic, quite a few of them exist around my town. I had a '62 panel bus (shortened!)

  • Honest, straight, and to the point, and yet Beautiful and nostalgic. :)

    (like the transporter itself) ;)

  • OH WOW ..........I agree toker i want another now lol double crew cab for me next i think

  • pimpin' sexy cool! I love it.. I want one! Oh wait, already have one. I want another!

  • Awesome. And fabulous music in those old ads (same for vintage Beetle commercial No. 111).
