After arriving at Frankfurt aport at 5am on Sat morn for 7am flight back home which should have taken about an hour and a half, I have just walked through my front door in Putney, London an hour ago. it is possible more eruptions will happen, these volcanos have been overdue for a few decades compaired with theyr historical rate of eruptions, though some scientists speculate that the vestmann island eruption in the 70's took some of the pressure off the lavachambers under the greater area.

and if the big volcano of Katla erupts too then there will likely be allot more ashfall, historycally Katla (which is btw a more active volcano) has erupted with or after this Eyjafjallajokull volcano.

My boyfriend's stuck in france though, and he's trying to get on a ferry to england so maybe you could find a ferry. (or the eurostar; i don't know what that's doing)

@guydecervens Volcanic eruptions can cause mini ice ages, sever winters and hot summers. The sulfur dioxide reflects the sun rays back and volcanoes release a lot of that gas. Depends on how much gas this one releases. One eruption (Pinatubo I think) was famous for 'halting' global warming for a few years.
