  • Who is this singing person?

  • Habla cantando! caracter y energia desbordante su voz es un instrumento único!

  • hahahaha she scared me jajajaja and she looks like a crazy, but i like them :.) they rule

  • Those who have gone ahead of us have paved the way and inspired us to make a difference. Many were worn down but others stepped up. Be blessed for the equality of all mankind and keep on stepping up!

  • Yes!

  • Wonderful, and understandly difficult for some to grasp, or handle. It might be too black & too blue! But it is what it is! The Blues and abstract truth... Nya-I

  • she's just fawking annoying

  • wtf?

  • she doesn't stop talking because sh's in love with her voice!!

  • mmmm i love it!!

  • that sistha did that

  • Wow, I'm impressed and happy that this was available for my viewing pleasures... This is great.

  • This is really bad!!!

  • I'm a big fan of Bessie & Billie, not as familiar with Ruth so I really enjoyed this. I also really enjoy bass players; so BlueStar118, why wasn't the bass player mentioned in the credit blurb? He's mentioned in the film credits, but not in your YouTube caption that mentions J'ai, Renee & Mary Jo and even the film co.

SHOW JEFF LITTLETON A LITTLE RESPECT!

  • Awesome (and informative for those who don't know anything).

  • That's an almost perfect impersonation of Billie Holiday! She could play her in a movie.

  • wow and a fabulous ending, bravo for the women who created the blues in america.

  • And that's how it was. So glad she kept it real! This was the South! Bessie Smith & Billie were both Bi sexual women, they were very different for their time, and were not afraid of whites!

  • That was sooooo kewl!

  • Awesome, but MAN. She's scary.

  • wow that was really really great!

  • OH MY GOD! i love them even more, now!

  • Inspirational, uplifting and a well needed history lesson for all human beings!!!

  • This is hilarious! Bessie Smith would've been fun to hang with back in the day, whether you were white or black.

  • Great entertainment! Awesome in every way.

  • Now, Strange Fruit is not a song you just jot into a medley like this... It's disrespectful.

  • It was an example to show how Billie changed/influenced what artists chose to sing about and how they could use their voice on a song with a powerful, moral statement. So Baby J'ai sang an exerpt to show what the song was about and to exemplify the character and person that Billie was. And how is it disrespectful?! ...Billie claimed she wrote the song when she didn't...that's disrespectful.
