I think my number one for 08 goes to the unfortunately overlooked album Vltra by Spite Extreme Wing.(followed by massive conspiracy by leviathan) It truly is a masterpiece.
Cool list... although I was a bit surprised to see Arckanum on there. Considering they are quite possibly the cheesiest band I've ever encountered... And Nachtmystium... who aren't really a 'black metal' band anymore! And... where is SHADAR LOGOTH? Huh?! You can't have a best of 2008 without Shadar!

How is the 2nd song in the list is black metal? I Shalt Become is pretty impressive as usual, Darkspace 3.16 is one of the best track I've heard.
