@bigsky89 1' 1/8 here...and I might have to go bigger...I got my right one almost yanked out trying to carry two bundles of shingles...It ripped pretty good...got just a tiny bit o skin holding it together...think my right side might be 1 1/4 now...the left side is hanging tough though...However they are both blown out...Impatient I was at a young age...went from a six gauge to 00 in one jump...And as everybody wants to know...Yes that fucking hurt..lol
@carpenterboy31 yeah i did a few size jumps a little too quickly, but i always gave them time to heal afterwards. for the most part i did mine slow, and theyre unbeleivably tough and always healthy. if you tore it man id think about trying to stitch it up, otherwise you might end up with a bad heal and not be able to do anything with them, maybe wear a spacer but thatd be about it, scar tissue is alot weaker than healthy skin...
@PocketBikingDude221 nah man, you put an earring in, it gets loose, you put a bigger earring in. do that for about 6 years or so and you get a spaced out earlobe. once you get to the size im at tho, surgery is required to remove them. not getting rid of mine any time soon though.
@CameronTheDude26 Yeah, to you and me they're "just gauges" but to most of the world it's still an "african or tribal thing" so most still find it shocking. I have one inch gauges and everyday someone asks me about them.
Dude, I have 1" 1/8 holes, and was thinking the same thing...two thumbs up and through the ear...
