  • I just updated my website and thought you might want to check it out.

let me know what you think…

    snipeslider,com

    Thanks!

  • hahahah give it a few years...you fail.

  • Chicken10843, you said two months ago that you wouldn't count gays as healthy brained people. I would like to understand from you if you understand what it means to be gay. I am gay, and it was a discovery, not a choice. I am similar to everyone anywhere outside of my bedroom. It doesn't matter who we love, it matters that we love. It saddens me to see so many people clouded with ignorance and fear over others who differ in one thing but are the same in everything else.

  • And another thing my parents are very nice people motherfucker

  • classy commercial

  • awe, How touching...

  • marriage aint sacred between a man and a woman. britney spears and michael jackson got married. let the gays get married too!

  • Honestly, this shouldn't even be an issue. It's absolutely ridiculous. We're a modernized country, and we still have problems like this. We're supposed to be leading the world in progressive advancement, yet we're lagging behind in several key areas, this being one of them. 2008 people... soon to be 2009.

  • eRev - I absolutely agree with you.

  • Good point. Why are we always one of the last countries to have a small measure of equality or a civil rights movement?

  • This is ridiculous. I must ask: what are YOUR consequences if a gay couple were to get married? Apocalypse? No, wait, it's just gays getting married. Is it really that intolerable that people who love each other want to be together and have the same rights as married heterosexuals? It's preposterous to deny them that right, that is simply not our call. Let them live the lifestyle they have chosen, and let them have the same rights as any other couple who commits to each other.

  • WHAT RIGHTS??????????

  • For starters the Right to Marry... Even though domestic partnership covers almost all rights that come with marriage, they still miss a lot. To have two separate institutions with the same idea to separate two types of people is called segregation. Prop 8 is a cancer to society. The yes campaign was dirty and lied to the people.

  • Just be glad it got passed.

  • It'll be overturned.

  • Deal with being spit on called faggot have your shit spray painted with anti gay slogans things thrown at you on a weekly basis, and then you would know what it is like to be a gay teenager growing up in this country. You don't worry about going out and getting stabbed or shot because of who you are. If that isn't hate, what is. I didn't do anything to people that were yes on 8, but I had all the same shit happen to me at the protest as I did growing up. go wine to someone who gives a shit.

  • The world would have ceased WITHOUT gay people! Imagine the exponential population curve if there was no gays at all! We would be surely be suffering from a lack of resources and a runaway greenhouse effect!

    NO PROP 8! (Australian's care! Lol :D)

  • NO ON 8!

    I'm haapppyy.

  • Please don't make the first 4 years of the Obama Administration on Gay marriage.

Don't give the Republicans anything they can us.

We on the Left have won we don't need to be wasting any more time fighting the culture wars of the 60s.

Don't let the Obama Administration be remembered for the Gay marriage ISSUE.

  • Why come to a no on prop 8 video and leave hate? I don't understand. The first case of aids was in a woman...and..i'm pretty sure she wasn't gay..weird..

  • god created aids as a punishment for homosexualty, but if we make homosexualty punisable by death we can CURE AIDS!!!!

  • I think ignorance should be punisable by death...or at the mimimun your gene line should be stopped so we stop having ignorant bigots breeding more ingnorant bigots.

  • no on Homo

  • You must be 12

  • go cry somewere else pappy

  • Please don't blame this on black people. We can't let our communities be divided, and there are black gay people too. Problem was adds like these - there are ignorant people out there and this ad didn't challenge them. Not once does it say same-sex marriage or gay marriage. Many first-time voters came out for Obama, and not all were black, and they had little knowledge on the props. This ad was so afraid to say gay, let alone have gay people say "we're your neighbors, we're in love, vote NO"

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... I see Prop 8 didnt pass. lol. Like it should anyway, GLAD THE MAJORITY WERE SMART ENOUGH TO VOTE YES! The way your demonstrators treated that elderly woman is a disgrace.

  • the only good back up i see for No on Prop 8 is the fact that is discrimination. lets face it, society will never accept gays. its just like having a tough mean guy make friends with a nerd. not likely

  • 40 years ago, we said that with other races SparkyFlary. Now look where we are. I hope it doesn't take that long with gays. Society has sadly turned biased on certain issues. We want to change that. That is what the video is about.

  • it took long before we accepted race and we still kinda dont. homosexuality however is something people just cant seem to accept. it took many years to accept race so its probably gonna take even longer to accept gays. also i think we cannot just say yes to prop 8 because there will be one day in the future when we'll accept it just like race.

  • Also, keep in mind the the civil rights movement of the 60's would never have passed had it been put to popular vote. The constitution was set up to protect the minorities from the majorities. What happened with our constitution???

  • Lets not waste anymore time on the Culture Wars of the damn 60s.

We on the left have finally won with Obama we don't need to be wasting anymore time on the damn politics of the bedroom.

Don't make this an Issue for Obama.

Don't hijack his incoming political agenda with this Issue.

There are more important issues in the US and the world for that matter then Gay marriage, I don't know issues like Third World Debt and Hunger.

  • if theres more important issues, then why the hell would people care so much if gay people get married? i agree we have lots of issues going on right now, but the yes on 8 campagin put so much time, money and effort into taking away a right that people allredy had. and FOR WHAT? everything was fine. the yes on 8 people are the ones who wasted their time to take away rights from a group of poeple who did NOTHING to them. Its wrong.

  • This would not have passed if it weren't for the record turn out voting for OBAMA. 72% of blacks voted YES, while only 51% of whites voted YES. The facts don't lie.

  • I would love to see the day that people like You will be raising gay and lesbian children so that you will understand what gays and lesbians are going thru.

After seeing the results of your election in CA, it's disgusting to learn that You people prefer to kill an unborn child by rejecting the Measure on Abortion Limits, than giving fundamental rights to to your fellow citizens by passing Prop 8.

God said, "thou shalt not kill." Not "thou shalt not covet the same sex."

    May God bless you!

  • California voters granted rights to chickens, pigs and calves in this election. But, the majority of voters turned their backs on the defense of civil rights of individuals.

  • gay ass

  • Being gay is a defect, and other people with abnormal defects can marry, why not gays?

  • Not really. It is what they believe in. We are all different. The LAW CAN'T CHANGE THAT!! NO ON 8(Well the idea that is) Well at least you said no.

  • The State Constitution is meant to protect rights, not take them away. I am sickened. Today I saw a truck with Yes no 8 signs all over it and the phrase "We won!" I was very annoyed. But it's not over. Bigotry and hatred based ideas (Banning gay marriage) can only last for so long. In the end equality will prevail. It's just taking longer than it would of 8 didn't pass.

  • I agree. They just flew a plane over my house with yes on 8 writing WE WON!! I was mad.

  • uhh so No is against it?

    i voted YES?

    oops.

  • Well you had the right idea. Thanks for believing we can be better.

  • baal1985, actually, we democrats control the senate, house and presidancy now, times up for the mindset of if it's not like me, it's bad. I'm straight, and someone who isn't should, and will have the same rights as me. It's simply morally correct and it is justice to anybody wanting to get married.

  • You know it has to go for Judicial review right? That did ot work out to well last time!

  • Are you from canda? Not scare at all!

  • Im not saying you should be scared you dont have anything to be scared of. Im just saying history on judicial review is that they make decisions based on previous ones. There is still a good chance that it wont get passed

  • fuck you

My generation voted AGAINST the measure

if the courts don't overturn Prop 8 WE WILL!

  • What the hell you are going do! Throw your high heels! ha ha Maybe, cry like chis crocker, and make a cring video! Like him! ha ha!

  • Shut up, no you won't and it isn't allowed to over turn it twice in a roll.

    Adam and Eve

    Not Adam and Steve

  • Don't make others feel bad because it is in the "Bible". There are other religions with other beliefs. Don't let California be a place where law mixes with religion. I literally cried with rage and disgust. I almost threw up. I thought we could have been better.

  • All long standing religious doctrines denounce gay relations, so you will never win over religious people. On the other hand, homosexuality is a defect, and other people born with abnormal defects can marry, why not gays?

  • Your Christian God doesn't exist in my eyes

and even if he did "make" Adam and Eve we are all inbred.

    Bible supports incest Yay!

  • Lucky for me, I'm Agnostic.

  • exactly

  • Comment removed

  • You're claiming the winning majority the less educated half because they went out and voted just like you did?

Look who the idiot is now, the one that can't get married!

  • Comment removed

  • If you wanted to see discrimination, they would make homosexuality itself illegal.

  • I agree. Being gay is a defect, and other people with abnormal defects can marry, why not gays?

  • Who's ignorant one! That's you! You lost. Because we must been smarter to see you plan! Keep wishing! ha ha!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm upset that Prop 8 has passed and gay marriage has been banned - BUT let us not be pessimistic. We now have a liberal Democrat in the White House and the Democrats dominate Congress.

I suggest that homophobes all across the United States prepare themselves for a wave of gay rights legislation that's going to sweep across the country.

  • I'll upset too, unfortunately does the Rupublicans control 56 seats out of possible 100. The Democrats should at least control 60 seats, they have 4 too less. That means Obama can do nothing if the Rupublicans wanna use a so-called "filibuster". Sadly enough!

So Senate can stop whatever bill that would end discrimination of homosexuals if they can unite the entire party.

So I am pessimistic the next couples of years untill USA is no longer as homophobic as it in certain states is today

  • You're right that the Republicans can still use the ridiculous filibuster to block all sorts of progressive legislation so we still have to be cautious - though i think that there is reason to be optimistic, especially with discriminatory policies such as 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' and etc.

  • I hope you're right!

  • I voted No on 8 . . . my sister voted No on 8 . . . my brother voted No on 8 . . . my best friend voted No on 8 . . . let's keep the No votes coming.

    Vote No on 8!

  • i voted NO on prop 8. my sister voted NO on prop 8. my mother voted NO on prop 8. my father voted NO on prop 8. VOTE NO ON PROP 8.

  • I JUST came back from the polls right now and VOTED NO on 8!!! Let's do this people!!

  • Bear with me: Let's start from the assumption that gay marriage is truly outrageous... Let's say it's like recognizing marriage beetween a chicken and a dog.

But here's a question: If I happen to recognize the marriage between a chicken and a dog, how the hell does this diminish YOUR marriage in any way?

Aren't you still free to scoff, walk away, and enjoy your marriage?

  • Regardless of how you feel about marriage, state constitutions should NEVER be modified by a simple majority. Constitutions should be the anchors of our laws, not laws that blow in the breeze with passing trends.

    No on 8.

  • Why then do we "discriminate" against polygamists? Polygamy has been accepted in many cultures across multiple millenniums.

  • Very good point. I know many homosexuals who strongly oppose polygamy. Ironic, isn't it?

  • ...deep-seated homophobia perhaps?

How would you feel if your child is gay and this law passes? How would that child feel if he/she ever found out you would vote for this proposition?

  • No.

    I respect gays 100%.

I respect them. I realy do.

  • Here, let me state your reason:

    "God told me to"

Wow, equal rights, No On Prop 8!

    :)

  • Having a problem with homosexuality is not necessarily based on religious reasons (or deep-seated homophobia). And by assuming that it is, you are doing the exact same thing (stereotyping and profiling). Some people, religious or not, just think that homosexuality is disgusting. I'm not taking sides, just stating fact.

  • Yeah, but despite what some people say you wouldn't have to watch 3 gay people having sex in the street. All this is about is giving people the right to marry and have families. I also find it a little gross but I feel the same way about threesomes. And why is a woman sucking a guy's **** less disgusting than 2 men loving eachother. Legal gay marrige would encourage adoptions and lesson homelessness because except for sperm banks, gay couples would have no other choice for having kids.

  • Oh wow you're ignorant.

Do we have annual hetero days?

Do we make kids pretend to get married, or make out with kids of the opposite gender?

No way. So whay would that happen if SSM was legal?

There IS still an opt out law.

Grow a brain, learn some common sense, then go vote NO on Prop 8.

  • No on prop 8!

Supporting fundamental human rights is fun.

Go to polls and bring your family and friends.

Let's stop discrimination, hate and abuse!

  • babiigurl3525, how is your comment related to this video?

  • best no on 8 ad yet. Great job!!!

    DOWN WITH PROP 8!!!

  • are these actual parents or actors...we will never know...looks good though.

  • i know the boy with the ball

  • Love does not make a marriage sacred.

Commitment does not make a marriage sacred.

Trust does not make a marriage sacred.

Mutual support does not make a marriage sacred.

    Genitals make a marriage sacred.

    Chromosomes make a marriage sacred.

This is the inevitable consequence of the argument in favor of Proposition 8. Please vote No on 8. Tell the world that LOVE makes a marriage sacred.

  • Please, CA. Let's not go down this road. Regardless of your political/religious leanings, constitutional amendments should be used to expand rights, not to discriminate. The human/civil rights of a minority should not be voted on by the majority. It makes no sense. Prop 8 sets a very bad precedent. If this passes, if all that it takes is a simple majority vote to change a constitution, be warned, no minority group is fully protected from mob mentalities that are driven by fear. Vote NO on 8.

  • President Bill Clinton Asks California Voters To Vote NO on Prop 8

"This is Bill Clinton calling to ask you to vote NO on Prop 8 on Tuesday, November 4th. Prop 8 would use state law to single out one group of Californians to be treated differently - discriminating against members of our family, our friends and our coworkers.

If I know one thing about California, I know that is not what you're about. That is not what America is about. Please vote NO on 8. It's unfair and it's wrong. Thank you."

  • Hm, nope, nevermind.

  • The heck? "No longer available," is anyone else getting that?

  • Great ad!!

    NO on H8!

    NO on 8!!

  • I'm voting NO! Prop 8 supporters at large try to engage this issue on "what the Bible says." Well guess what? Not everyone in this country is a Christian, and it's their right not to have Christianity shoved down their throat. I'm a Christian and I believe in the wisdom of separation of church and state! Religion has been the excuse and crutch of warmongers and opportunists throughout history!

  • Not every Christian agrees with the Prop 8 supporters on "what the Bible says".

    I know I don't.

  • NO on h8te

    NO on h8te

  • NO ON H8T!

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • we can all vote to choose NO on prop 8 on november 4th, 2008.

God bless California and the USA on november 4th. give me the choice to vote NO on prop 8.

  • no on 8! and no on 102 in AZ!

  • Wonderful ad. Please vote no on Prop 8. It is unfair and wrong.

  • Vote on Nov 4th!

  • Thank you!

NO ON HATE! NO ON PROP 8!

  • I'd really like to see the Yes on 8 camp try to fight back against this one.

  • Im sure they will come up with some absurd video full of lies and deception. Theyve been doing that all along.

    NO ON 8!

  • No on 8. Let EVERYONE be equal in this world.

  • Excellent ad. I wish that they would have done this in the beginning.

    NO ON 8.

PS - We were out in Santa Clarita today and had about 120 people covering all four corners of McBean and Valencia Blvd. It was a great turnout and amazing response from the cars driving by.

  • this is a very good ad, great job!

  • Protect the liberty by voting NO on 8!

  • no on hate; no on 8!

  • This is good, but the Samuel L. Jackson narrated one is best, in my opinion. How ANYONE can vote YES on prop 8 is beyond me. I can't get over how mean-spirited prop 8 is and low the yes campaign has sunk. Using kids to lie in ads, essentially blackmailing corporate sponsors who contributed to NO, and just being outright scumbags is how the yes campaign has operated. The worst I hear from NO is stealing YES signs-tacky, but minor. Anyway, I will be flipping the bird to zealots and vote NO on 8

  • Ya, I know, It is fucking depressing to see people saying thinks like "a man and man or a women and a women, it is just wrong", or "we don't want them teaching the homosexual agenda in schools". I am just so sick of all this shit. I am seeing all this, seeing bush complete 2 terms, sarah palin, and realizing that most people are just not bright. Most people are dumb.

  • I agree that this is the best ad so far as well. It took a long time (hopefully not TOO long) for the NO on 8 group to match the power of the impact that the YES on 8 group had at the beginning. This ad helps make the point of non-discrimination clear. What I think we also need is an ad that that dispels the notion that domestic partners ALREADY have all the same rights and benefits as married couples. Last I checked, they could not be on the same family health insurance plans.

  • You think so, i saw that add with that girl saying "about me" and thought it was contrived and cheap. I mean they were probably close to squirt tear drops on her eyes. I am more scared of their newsome ad.

  • Awesome!

    NO on 8!

  • Boy, I sure wish this had been the FIRST ad to air against Prop 8, before most of the absentee ballets had been submitted. This it the true reason this Proposition should not be passed, and it's a shame that it took until right before the election for it to be produced. I hope and pray that Tuesday demonstrates to all Californians that discrimination is wrong and should not be tolerated.

  • I AGREE, BEST AD SO FAR

  • As a parent of young children, this ad echoes my own feelings exactly.

As a religious person, this ad echoes my own theology: all marriages between loving adults are righteous (as Genesis confirms)

As a religious American, I know we do not make laws based on religion, nor do we make one law for some people and another for others. Marriage is a civil institution, and therefore a civil right for all citizens.

Protect and Promote Marriage, Righteousness and a Better Society: Vote NO on 8!

  • good ads for 'no on 8' campaign. they are honest and direct. i'm voting NO on prop 8 on nov 4th in california.

  • Video isn't working X.X Hope it's up and running soon...

2 days left before the voting polls close people! Vote NO on prop 8! Support Marriage Equality!

  • I wish I could have the right to vote No on 8, but since I can't, I'm trying my best to spread the word so that those who CAN vote, vote against it. Please, post this video on your Facebook, MySpace and other social network accounts, so that we all put our little grain of sand in. The smallest difference is worth it.

  • no on prop 8!!

  • I got an email from Lorri L. Jean asking me to watch this video. Too bad, when I try, it says We're sorry, this video is no longer available.

  • LOVE the VID NO on 8 I WILL VOTE NO ON 8

  • Excellent commercial!

    NO on H8

  • is there a spanish version i want my mom to change her mind and vote NO on 8 but she wont listen...it really upsets me cuz my Dad is voting No im voting No and my sister is voting NO...im pulling my last resort

  • There are a couple of ads on this channel that are in Spanish! You can show her some of those! =)

  • Thank you! I mean both my mom and dad are married but i guess my dad is more flexible and understanding my mom just wont let go of her old traditions I mean were not living in "her" 2008 we are living in our 2008 and it should be NO on 8 thanks a lot!

  • Great commercial!

  • Hey,um,yeah,if this video was all I saw,then I wouldn't really know what prop 8 is about.

    I'm just sayin'.

  • Great video - vote NO on Prop 8!

  • Yes- there are gay people who are Christians. Whether you are gay or not is how you are born, not what your religious beliefs are. As for me, equality isn't a view I feel is being "pushed on" anyone- it is the proud history of our state, and something we must all defend- because discrimination is wrong- we must never allow ourselves to take that step toward a theocracy- less we all become less free- Because to take away the rights of any one Californian- is to take away the rights of all of us.

  • Is it possible that gay people have more to do with their lives than 'push their views on others'? I mean... it's not like they're Christian Gays. :D

  • Really? Because that sounds exactly what Christians are trying to do because somehow they can't stand the idea of homosexual couples having the right to marry. Keep in mind that THEY are the ones who developed Prop 8 - so who's really pushing the views, here?

  • This video speaks my mind. Thank you! I am proud to be voting NO on 8.

  • I think the Samuel L Jackson video is your best video. Or maybe its just the one that I think sums up the best case.

  • I can't believe I had a discussion with a very conservative christian who claimed that prop 8 should pass because the gays are pushing their lifestyle on everyone else. He really thought that by letting gays live their own lives, that was imposing the gay viewpoint on him. Honestly, it is sad to see the way the christian churches ruin the minds of nearly 50% of our population.

  • Thanks for your enlightened comment, jonthebaptist666. It's ironic that gays have been humiliated by the general public because they have an evil "chosen lifestyle," and now all gays want is the same lifestyle they take for granted. VOTE NO ON PROP 8 and give gays a chance to live as they choose.

  • I know there is many a good Christian out there, and you are proof of that! And I do believe that Christian churches and beliefs have ruined some of society. And for me it seems like that is due to people who want to use the Bible and God as their justification for their own personal standpoints - i.e., they don't want to tolerate homosexual lifestyles any more than they want to tolerate gay marriage. So what do they do? They use the Bible and God to impose on gays. And I find that to be wrong.

  • Me a christian? holy shit! I am not a christian, that was just an argument I had yesterday with one. check out my channel, and you won't see a christian. No problems though, I am just not used to being confused as christian. Anyway, vote tommorow and vote NO ON 8!

  • I like the video. It's good. Spread the word.

  • Thank you for posting this! Excellent ad, and I totally agree with it. It makes me proud when people I know who are straight campaign against Prop 8--we recognize hatred and bigotry, and we can't let those Prop 8 assholes win!

VOTE NO ON PROP 8!!! Equal rights for all of us!

  • The video isn't working for me, but for obvious reasons! Vote No on 8!

Our civil laws are separate in the first place, lets not allow people to restructure it for alleged religious needs.

  • a Vote of No on 8 = strengthening California families.

    No on 8

  • great ad!

  • Awesome video. Californians, stand up for _real_ family values and vote no on 8! Don't be the embarrassing racist uncle that everyone apologizes for at family gatherings. Give the thousands of children of same-sex parents the dignity, stability, and legal protection they deserve. Protect marriage, protect children: no on hate and HELL NO on 8!

  • good video, air this!

  • it would be pretty rad if at the end, the baby turned around and said NO ON 8

    Please vote NO

  • Good video...not as great as some of the others but it gets the point across of what parents SHOULD want to teach their children.

This proposition is ridiculous, we shouldn't be voting on civil rights. And, the amount of money raised, over $60 million, could have gone to better use, like saving schools from shutting down or teachers from being fired. I am sick of this, physically and mentally, it just disgusts me that there has to be a constant fight for equality. NO on Prop 8

  • Well said.

NOBODY SHOULD BE VOTING ON MY MARRIAGE.

    NO on PROP 8!!

  • But I voted. And I voted Yes on 8.

Don't hate. Go home and masterbate!

    See anyone can rhyme.

  • Yes on 8.

Do your gay homosexual relations in your grandma's basement, don't pervert our public!

  • Thy Lord hath decreed, that ye worship none save Him, and (that ye show) kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age with thee, say not "Fie" unto them nor repulse them, but speak unto them a gracious word. (23) And lower unto them the wing of submission through mercy, and say: My Lord! Have mercy on them both as they did care for me when I was little. (24) Your Lord is best aware of what is in your minds. 0f surah 17 Quran

  • @Beolex no it they can still be perverted as you say but now they cant get married by that happing they wont stay in committed realionships and turn to darker things and there will be that much more gay porn

  • Great video. No on prop Hate
