  • I think this would have been even better with vibes. The chillness and Latin feel just scream vibes to me.

  • smiles...smiles...for a million miles...

  • anyone know if this album's on vinyl?

  • MCCOY TYNER.

  • great.. Henderson & Dorham... love it! but.. how guys listen each other in band....this is artistry...

  • If you are good and you eat your Mushrooms. Everything just works out for the Best!

  • @anandanaga999 HAHAA love it, great comment

  • The best duo in my opinion is either Dexter/Freddie or Hank Mobley/Lee Morgan

  • i wish someone would post black narcissus from Joe Henderson

  • @Alex758able youtube.com/watch?v=MigYYKlttV8&feature=related

  • McCoy Tyner on piano!!!!!!!

  • pete le roca on drums adds a dynamic by his minimalist style, he sets the tone for the whole band.

listen to how restrained mccoy Tyner.

I agree dorham henderson partnership is up there with wayne shorter and lee morgan or even parker and gillepie, as an attack.

it is amazing to hear henderson in early years compared to his later years. It is not the same style.

  • I think wayne shorter and reddie are a more dynamic duo

  • freddie!!*

  • @harbansjoeljr this is kenny dorham

  • mode for joe, this page one is just that number one as a leader,on this LP.

  • Joe and Kenny!

  • Hey, anyone else think the wall that Joe's stnading next to looks like musical staves???!!

  • @jazzmunky I do see that...and I do like it...perhaps the desired illusion?

  • I love Joe Henderson! And the sidemen too! (though in a platonic sense of course)

  • Joe Henderson's 1964 album "In 'N Out"

    was also a dope album.

Back in the early to late 60's these Blue Note records were like pieces of gold to many of us........aaah!

  • One of the greatest albums of all time... R.I.P. Kenny, we all love and miss your sound.

  • ...and thanks for sharin passjay...I luv dated pieces :)

  • Woah this song is really good, i want to play this song for jazz band at school on french horn, does any one know where i can get sheet music for this.

  • Local sheet music shop (if there is one), online, transcription.

    Good luck! =]

  • try the real book in C... thats what key frenchies are in right

  • kk thnxs!

  • Awesome tune!

  • Gotta love it!

  • Recordame one of the greatest songs out there a latin tune, i played this song for the Yamaha Young Artist Competition and man did i play this song it was great. It is an emotional song to play. I feel in love with Recordame. Everyone should play this song because it is such a fine composition made and Latin Jazz is the best. Latin Jazz is killer because if you can play Latin Jazz then you can play everything else even from Classical because there is a certain sound you have to develop.

  • In n' Out

check that album if you haven't already.

In the mean time I am definetly going to buy this one!

  • this album is the best .great album, good songs, and great vibes

  • @inhousevideo i love that album too!

  • I had been looking 4 this for many years! It's a sho' nuff' classic. Good Post!
