that charger is retarded 70$ for a charger that you still need to have it placed down on the charger and at the base station whats connected into the wall...A WIRE hmm kinda stupid...not to mention it doesnt charge as fast as a regular charger
It is an ACCESSORY. The Palm Pre will work just fine without it, right out of the box. It is a convenience item and, having one, I find it very convenient and they aren't $70 (yes, the dollar sign goes BEFORE the amount) everywhere. It is the suggested retail price. The people that don't want it or like it don't have to buy it.
bet ur arse its pricey.. but i bet there are peps who are saving for one of these, obviously 4 the phone as well since february :D im one of those !!!

It looks like it will pick up the touchstone when you try to pick up your phone. That could get old very fast.

He did not use the adhesive pad on the bottom of the Touchstone. It doesn't take two hands to pick up the phone.
