this track never grows old. it ain't called deep burnt for nuthin! I have this mixtape circa '99 of ricardo villalobos closing a party in pucon, chile. And he drops pepe's deep burnt at 7am midway through the set. pure magic.
French Proud Here ! remember Dj Gregory canned it for the very first time at Sylvie Chataigner legendary TGV (Thanks God I'm a VIP) party marvellous Monthly Party here in Paris. Two days ago, the same station and BOOM, the song was played again and this is definitively AWESOME and timeless(echoing others here). Where can I buy this mp3? iTunes doesn't have it and I WANT IT!

And then one day I found out about Pepe. And I discovered that one of his biggest hits was ''Deep Burnt'' so I checked youtube for the song. I played it. And from that moment I realised how beautiful and touching music can really be. Thanks Pepe.
A long time ago I was as commercial as fuck. I listened to commercial craploads, my mind was spoiled by mediocre commercial crap. I thought that music was supposed to be like that. Until one day. On a birthday of a girlfriend of mine. A guy introduced me to underground music. And from the moment I heard that music I was deeply touched. Deeply touched by the highly experimental sounds of Deep house, detroit house, acid house, chicago house. And I started searching all over the net for this music
@dsmaster92 Sounds like you enjoy the music. There's a new girl in London called 'Maya Jane Coles' you should check out her tunes, really nice house music.
@dsmaster92 its always more fun when you start buying records. thats when you get the buzz. start to spin and you get this mad ache to always want the best of the best tunes all the time from right now or from 20 years ago. lavely stuff.
@dsmaster92 Damn straight!! You said it the best. This track takes me to a very special place, where music was always great, and the people truly danced to escape. I'll never forget!! Respect!
I sort of crashed into this tune! But, but, but, I've played it "SILLY!" It's mellow! It's cool! It's me... I pushed it to my FACEBOOK page, and plus, I've saved it to "My Favorites!" Lovin' it... This is a HOTTTT track! Go Pepe Bradock! You're pumping an UGLY beat, it's 4 real..... Lawrenceville, GA... (I'm a HOUSE Moogla!) Hee hee hee hee...

This music makes me long for the days when I'd be dancing past dawn in some black-out pub in Rotherhithe, totally off our tits, not making any sense whatsoever, but not talking. Loads of amyl nittrate. Nostalgia!

OMG!!!! I don't remember where or when i heard this gem, but it was a long time ago (90s) when i used to go to parties. This joint touched me deeply then and just brought back a wave a wonderful feelings. Thank you so much for posting!!!
I think that four people accidentally pushed the dislike button. This is an amazing tune. One of my all time favourites. Pepe is a hero, he has no equal.
Mike Clark on the first DEMF: ...and I heard a soft constant beat in the air. As I got closer to the festival, the sound formed into Pepe Bradock's "Deep Burnt." ... As I was going through the tunnel to Hart Plaza someone writing about the festival walked up to me and asked, "How did I feel about it?" While trying to hold back the tears, I said, "Listen! Can you hear it? This is one of my favorite records and I heard it a mile away! In my own city! It's one of the greatest moments in my life!"
@explosivehotdogs I was just reading that, too. The quotes in RA's writeup gave me chills so many times. As I deliberated whether or not to attend Movement this year, reading all that sealed the deal. This music means something. It means a lot. I can't begin to convey how this music and parties in Detroit affected me. This year I'm making my longest pilgrimage yet--from Los Angeles back to the birthplace of the greatest music form of my generation.
@TheLastYogurt I really hear what you're saying. I moved away from Chi-town last year, and hearing this deep track brings me right back to Chicago in the late 90s, Prescription at its peak, great warehouse parties filled with good people. This music will only grow in significance.

I've been saying it for a long time. This is probably one of a few deep house tracks which anyone can feel regardless of what style of electronic music you prefer.
