  • no jackson 5??? gay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • holy shit! Garota de ipanema in this selection! girl from Ipanema is not a good song, should be forgotten, this is a song of masturbation of two old man, I often feel the cream is a thousand times better than this shit madein Brazil! I have shame of brazil, here the culture is nothing, the music is a shit like GAROTA DE IPANEMA.

  • i ain't gonna watch this.no the doors,no janis.THIS IS MADNESS

  • why only one song per artist ? Surely, Satisfaction deserves to be here. I would have put Gimme Shelter # 1

  • It is just a personal mix from Karimberdi. So what?Is btw no mix,It is a disorderly heap

  • how about more than5 seconds a song FCOL

  • No Janis?????? Thumbs down!

  • fuck the beatles adn simon and garfunkel

  • @IrishPatriot86 how can you say fuck the beatles? i can agree with you on simon and garfunkel, but how can you possibly say fuck the beatles?

  • and the doors? and Janis Joplin?

  • What no Rascals.Rock on

  • Are you from freakin MARS???

  • What no Kinks?

  • Es imposible hacer ningun listado de musica de los 60 y que no esten Los Doors...

  • No Byrds, Zombies, Motown, Shirelles "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow"? Donovan, BeeGees? "The Girl From Ipanema"? (Surely you jest) Van Morrison? (Very marginal choice.) CSNY, Doors omissions downright embarrassing. "My Way" is more representative of 50's music, "Be My Baby" at #8?! It is arguably the greatest pop song EVER. Surprised you included Dusty Springfield, the greatest white soul singer ever, (sorry Amy). Even with that notable choice, you didn't experience the 60's.

  • A good mix out of so many great songs then I wouldn't know where to start well done

  • wow the top 25 songs from the 1960's? I would like to know where you got your information from.

  • U forgot engelert

  • S-T-I-N-K Stink Stink Stink

  • 4. Give Me Shelter is Grand Funk Railroad

  • @bnorthcraft The Grand Funk Railroad version is a cover, the Stones wrote it and did it first

  • Nice compilation....my top 25 would be differant....but hey; differant strokes for differant folks, ya know.....thanks a lot....power to the people!

  • I think Nico joined the Velvet Underground (with Lou Reed), where she found minor fame among the NY beats. Sunshine of Your Love would have been my Cream choice. But overall, a great effort.

  • I was definatly born in the wrong era

  • Esos sí que eran músicos ♥

  • very diverse lsit.. could use the beatles stones and doors

  • DIRETORIO NACIONAL BONECOS FARDADOS

  • I still like Sid Vicious' version of "My Way."

  • Cream, Aretha,Ronettes, Jimi, Beach Boys, Dylan and the Beatles..

  • nico chealsea girl, the pentangle !!! what the f""" never heard of them , i must have been asleep at this time

  • no led zepplin or pink floyd??

  • @josh71111 that was more 1970's

  • @RsOO7A actually led zep '69

  • @josh71111 true but when you think of zep they didn't have a massive fan group until the 70's. 69 was actually the year of woodstock, and back then people liked mountain and free which were bands that ended up splitting to go into very popular bands in the 70's

  • Uh. The Beach Boys are rated over Marvin? Come on get real. Marvin's worst song still sounded way better than anything The Beach Bums ever turned out.

  • @gotch09 Yeah, you're full of shit. One band had many top songs, Brian Wilson is considered the best American songwriter, not to mention an album that ranks at one or two ALL TIME. Marvin Gay was killer, but come on man.

  • @gostillerz Well, if I'm full of shit, it must have spilled out of your mouth.

  • @gotch09 That wasn't very nice. What did I ever do to you?

  • @gostillerz Uh when you come out in the attack mode, wanting to jump somebodys ass because they dare to have a different opinion than you, don't play the "shocked" card when they take a verbal swing back at you.

  • Top 25 in which country? Never heard of some of these and I loved 60's music

  • @tgifa5 Which ones have you never heard of???

  • @Torkgasmicgirl8 I like a lot of your choices.. which is why I was surprised I never heard of some of these: 25 (probably because I'm not a Van Morrison fan) ,23,21,18,13,12. 19 I have heard before but just don't like it at all.

  • @tgifa5 ..it's not my upload. They're not my choices! but thanks for the reply. You say you've never heard of quite a few of them and given the numbers...a lot of the ones you mentioned are great songs..and you should maybe check out more on these bands/singers. I'm a hippie at heart and my choices would've been very different!! Everybody would pick a different 25 as there are so many great 60's songs! - Peace!

  • A day In a Life must be N° 1 !!

  • Pentangle? Nico?? Who in the world are these people? Come on, you could have done much better than this!

  • @commandertomh who is Nico? Have you ever heard about The Velvet Underground?

  • where is the fucking doors !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love is cool!!!Крутая группа c прекрасным вокалистом Artur lee .Не зря их Егор Летов любил слушать .

  • where is the monkees

  • I Hate like a rolling stone!

  • I say a little prayer is wonderful. I HATE My Way!

  • like a rolling stone! best song of all time. no arguements.

  • Sorry but 75% of the songs you have put on here are crap.

  • Shit list, no doors.

  • your work sucks! I wanted to hear ALL those songs

  • where is pink floyd !!!

    where is the doors !!!

    where is deep purple !!!

where is the velvet underground !!!

    where is the byrds !!!

    where is the kinks !!!

    where is the zombies !!!

why the beatles isn't the first place !!!

  • Muy buenas remenbransas, como para tenerlo siempre presente.

  • the beach boys????????????????

  • The Moody Blues - Nights In White Satin ????

  • Need more Beatles!!! #1 should have been 'Something' (in my opinion)

  • NO Pink Floyd???

  • Any "best of 60s" list that excludes Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, The Temptations and The Supremes is illegitimate. The poster needs to brush up on his or her knowledge of iconic 60s music made by Black musicians. And this person also forgot The Doors. Sheesh! #musichistorianfail

  • If you make the average of all of the years in which these songs were released, you get 1966.72 – I always thought 1967 was the best year, but the end of 1966 is pretty awesome too. Mind you, the greatest hits of any decade would be expected to average to the midpoint of that decade – e.g. 1965, in this case. The fact that this list tilts so heavily towards the second half of the decade is really telling of the incredible advances in songwriting in this period.

  • Canned Heat: Going Up The Country and/or On The Road Again !!!

  • and it's pure shite apart from the few he gets right.

  • ive got to agree wat a great selection my man!!!!

  • DYLAN RULES

I would have given the first 20 songs to Dylan

  • Who chose these songs? 25-no, 24-yes, 23-maybe, 22-positively, 21,-no, 20, yes, 19-ehhhh, 18, positively, 17- yes, 16-maybe, 15,-yes, 14-no, 13-never heard of it, 12-ditto, 11-definately, 10-definately, 09-yes, 08-yes, 07-yes, 06-yes, 05-yes, 04-yes, 03-maybe, 02-maybe, 01-maybe. Once again... who chose these songs!

  • no.12 and 13 ? and no 3 the bitch boys

  • Odd collection. Not that much good here.

  • were are the Doors?

  • @guerreiro943 Seriously

  • bob dylan is the greatest. period.

  • Did I skip somthin I did not see the doors and if ur going to put the Beatles put the best

Ps. There all great so u have to put a lot of them

    What about Zeppelin

Bob Dylan is great he's one of my fav but hes not better than the Beatles right

  • @Briannastokes24 dylan = the best

  • you are both idiots. both led zeppelin and the beatles were revolutionary bands. the reason led zeppelin probably isn't on here is that they were arguably a seventies band. you are allowed to like both you know. idiots.

  • i might be biased, but i think the beatles' songs should be all of the top 25 :P

  • @TheLocalcat actually jimi hendrix should

  • @TheLocalcat The Beatles played a great role in the 60's, but don't leave the other musical talents out either! : ) . Eric Burden, John Fogerty, Mick Jagger, and many others were just as great as Lennon.

  • @TheLocalcat

    O'C'mon! Not this Beatles fetish...

Beatles are really good, but by being fair, they should have max 5-7 songs...

One of the best band ever though.

But, House of the Rising Sun, California Dreamin', Gimme Shelter, Sound of Silence, Satisfaction, Somebody to love, White Rabbit, Baba O'Riley and Paint it Black are one of the greatest songs ever.

  • This list is bad... and then the top 4 are amazing hahaha.

  • No led zeppelin

*feels extremely tempted to thumb this video down*

  • @Hubbleknarf

but led zeppelin is overrated shit.

  • @TopTenCrew

    talking shit about zeppelin....

    OVER THE LIIIINEEEE

  • @TopTenCrew *The Beatles are

  • @Yyyyzyyy

Nah, man, The Beatles revolutionized music- Led Zeppelin was just another band.

  • @TopTenCrew *The Beatles were just another band that had a really good publicist. They were nothing more than talentless bubble gum pop.

  • I agree. Just because they changed the face of Rock & Roll forever doesn't mean squat. And don't forget all those lousy bands that were influenced by them like The Stones, The Who, The Hollies. They must of been out of their minds. And can you believe Country, Soul, and R&B groups were copying their songs? I think Frank Sinatra even recorded a song. DISGRACEFUL. What were they thinking? Hard to believe a talentless bubblegum pop group, loved by millions, could make that big of an impact.

  • @Yyyyzyyy hehe...dipshit...

  • Even though i wouldn't have chosen the exact same 25 nor the exact same order. this is a great list and i love your choises

  • this is a very eclectic list, but delightful for all that. thank you so very much. a nico song? a pentangle song? you are indeed a curious jewel....thank you sooo much.

  • I think there should have been at least one Doors tune, but the fact that you included 'Alone Again Or' by Love and 'Light Flight' by Pentagle makes me love this list.

  • I think there should have been more Beatles and at least one Doors, but the fact that you included 'Alone Again Or' by Love makes me love this list.

  • Just one Beatles track and none of The Doors. Jeesus.

  • TOP 25 BUT IN YOUR EARS. I THINK YOU HAD A FEW RECORDS IN 60'S

  • Gimmie Shelter is my FAVORITE

  • the love song is from 67

  • every list without satisfaction is just not good, but nice to se dylan where he deserves to be - 1

  • nice selection.Two thumbs up .

  • begins with Van Morrison, has to be an awesome list
