@excatholics Your video is in flagrant error. Seventh Day Adventists did not predict the 2nd coming. It was William Miller who did that and the Millerites who followed him. William Miler never became a Seventh Day Adventist and only a small few of his followers did along with many others who were not Millerites later form the SDA church which because it follows Bible health principles has people now living ~10 years longer than the average (see my Bible health playlist). Now, Jonah did not make a mistake nor do I think that was what Jonah felt after Niniveh changed repented. God (through Jonah) did not want to destroy Niniveh but their repentance instead. He simply conveyed a messege from God with the condition of repentance. No mistakes in the part of Jonah, It was all God's directions.

The disciples believed that the Messiah would restore Israel's independence and make them the greatest nation in the world, destroy Rome and all that. And this was while they were LIVING with Jesus. Were they not inspired because they believed something wrong for a while?? The Bible does not teach that ANY human is infallible, not even prophets. Only God is infallible and even He is limited by our lack of knowledge.

But, if the disciples had just stuck with the way things had always been done, there'd have been no Christians. If Luther and Calvin had just followed "the church in power" there'd have been no protestants. When churches or pastors leave the Bible to follow tradition, it's important that we stick with what God says no matter what since HE saves us, not churches/pastors.

The thing I don't understand is I heard that Harold told his audience that if you don't believe in the date May 21st that the rapture will come that you'll be left behind. The thing is the whole point of the Bible is to show God's love for us by giving his Son to die on the cross for our sins. So your salvation either lies in Jesus or in Harold Camping....I'm going with Jesus. Psalm 118:8 "It is better to trust in the LORD then to put confidence in man."

A Hebrew harvest took place in two distinct stages. The 1st fruits *Christ' The general harvest (when the rest ripened) Then the four corners where left for gleaning.

If you say yes, then you do understand that 1 Cor 15:50-55 & 1 Thes 4:13-18 are in fact that resurrection. If you agree with this, then what do you do with all of those that are alive at that time? That is where the rapture happens.
