They are updating the animations in Darkfall. Games today need to sacrifice graphics for gameplay. Expect a lot of glitches in Mortal Online due to them sacrificing gameplay for graphics. You will see ;)

the actual game is out now but you have to create an account online check the forums announcements on forum fall, then go make a seperate account where it says to cant share a game account with forum account, then you have to wait for them to open up the shop buy and there ya go.. just check forum falls announcements

yeah their site is having issues right now cause of people overloading their site, they weren't expecting that. Once their lag issues are cleared up, you will be able to login and digitally download the game.

we might quit and complain, but we just tell it how it is. usually we all are in agreement too. Warhammer was lacking in alot of things, you can't deny it. AOC was also, and the Gem stacking bug killed AOC for alot of people, not to mention 0 reward for PVP. Right now Darkfall is the new hot game, although it lacks hardcore in PVE, the PVP is undeniably the best PVP system to date in the MMO genre.

the first person view really removes epicness and adds more h4xx, not really my thing.. but I guess I'll go melee then :P

and I don't like the runescape wilderness feeling that u've got to have to survive i:e bring food or you're dead -.-

and the fact that magic will be expensive to lvl ( farm runes WTG!! FTW!! ) removes epicness as well, the runescape system really adds up on this game

It seems Darkfall is lacking atm and needs to polish things especially the red name system I mean its just rlly wrong most of the time, especially if asses jump in front of you and the 2 states aren't so great IMO especially I think they r trying to make it TO realistic

PvP seems fun but if they took off the the name system and make it more lone wolf feeling except being so restricted to faction it could be really fun

Servers may be down for Beta for good, but there is hope that they are coming back up to test the latest patch which was today, 20 feb. If they come back up I will post more footage for those who are still contemplating purchasing Darkfall Online.

yeah not bad this video had unusually high quality considering i wasn't watching it in high quality

some other pointers:

-buy a 2h starter weapon to replace your leafblade asap

-get the quests done from the town counseler up until the gnolls this will get you all of your harvesting gear(wood axe mine pick sickle etc)

-from the money you get from this i would buy that 2nd starter weapon but get the dawnstaff so you will always have a weapon and a staff

yeah frame rate is at 30, and it was at full size. I wonder fi it will be as crystal clear if I do it half size? I am not a total nub with fraps, but i have never messed with the config at all cause I rarely use it.

Just a Q, I like you guys at MMOST alot, listen to y'all whenever you put up a cast. Are you guys really enjoying your Darkfall experience? I have to say I was never really intrested in this game, it looked very strange ( still does tbh) but are you guys having fun? Is it going to be a solid game come release?

I didn't like the first person stuff I heard about, but I see combat is third person. I dig the oblivion-esque feel.

Anyway, should I be looking to pick this up?

To be honest I wouldn't rush out to buy it just yet. I would wait till after release and see how it goes for a week or two. It is definitely a hardcore PVP game, thus far, and does not cater to PVE'ers, period. We are going to pick it up to talk about. We love the PVP, but it lacks alot. We discuss what it lacks in tonights PODCAST, which we did just 2 hours ago and should be posted tonight on our site.
