@ihavesexforhappymeal We were fortunate to be born and live the golden age of video games, when for a child to see a few pixels no way was everything flying imagination aided by the front cover of the cartridge with its art .... today's children know nothing really, bored quickly with a game, we played something that was repeated for days !!!..

Space Invaders VS Space Armada(Mattel): On the Ataris at least the phalanx didn't take up the entire screen as it did on Space Armada. Otherwise I'd call them even.

@Zickcermacity Though I've never Space Invaders on Atari I can assume it controls a bit better than Space Armada in the INTV. That disc got me killed more than once.

@Jono1874 Not only that - in order to "out detail" 2600's version the aliens in SpaceArmada are HUGE! A similar phalanx to the one in Space Invaders takes up much more of the screen, meaning you spend most of your time at the leading end(s) of the phalanx in order to prevent if from descending by one more row. InTV definitely out-detailed Atari in sport games, but for space/sci fi I'd say they were about equal.

You cannot finish this game.

You can only reset your score back from 9999 to 0000

The game goes on until the player puts down the Joypad and has had enough.

when I was a kid, I figured out that if I flicked one of the switches on my 2600 up and down a certain way and number of times it would give me fully automatic fire on my joystick when playing Space Invaders. So all I had to do is hold down the fire button and it just kept on firing, I loved it. I remember scoring so high it reverted back to zero. Good times!

Anybody ever figure that out too??

Yes, hold down the reset switch and turn on the power :)
