@WoodysGamertag In that situation, assuming steel toed boots, pick up an equalizer. Anything from heavy glass ashtrays to (back then, I assume) a vcr or something. I am for fair fights as far as equal numbers and no deadly weapons like guns and knives etc. But past that you fight like your fighting for your life. Even if he was twice your size a good "first blood" will usually win a fight. My dad always told me "If you have to fight make sure you get the first lick in!".

@remzsti Yeah "fight smart"...don't get hit. To sum up what I said earlier, don't give them a chance to hit you. Put them on their azz before they know what happened. I am a big slow power hitter, if I let them swing first there is about a 50/50 chance they land it and I don't like those odds. I am more of a 95/5 type of fighter, Why give the other person any advantage? As for law, this guy was in possession of stolen property...who are the cops going to believe?

@InItForTheParking I do kyokushin which is a defensive and offensive fighting style and I'd say learning a fighting style is the best way to humuliate people. Leaving them gasping for air after one hit is great.
