1. She upgrades any opening to epic

Johto: FUCKIN AWESOME!!! 100 new Pokemon and a new region. Plus, no Johto = no HeartGold/SoulSilver. The best, IMO

Hoenn: It was okay. The new Pokemon were cool and May got a Blaziken. Plus the new soundtrack was awesome

Sinnoh: Oh, Arceus, no -.- Don't even talk to me about that. Dawn DISGRACES the name of Cyndaquil! Most of the new Pokemon are just bad. Notice the only good Sinnohs evolve from original Kanto and Johtos

I think pokemon gets progressively worse, while the games get progressively better. The manga stays awesome. Eg compare misty and dawn. Dawn has the character depth of a puddle compared to Misty's olympic swimming pool in the cerulean gym. Honestly.

And I also wish DP wasn't so just plain pitiful. The original, Orange Islands, Johto, and Hoenn were great. Then they screwed up the art, threw every intriguing plot out the window, and added another bland moe female character, who is waayyyyy too girly for me to even take seriously. Now, I wouldn't care much if Hikari/Dawn had an inch of DEPTH to her, but she doesn't. I can't even bring myself to watch it.

You can actually see that in the first American intro. When Pikachu goes under the girl's dress, that is. Prior to finding out about the Japanese lyrics, I was always wondering what that girl was doing there. The lyrics in Japan when that happens is something along the lines of "I'd even go under a girl's dress to find a Pokemon." Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone.
