Basically it's about going through some sort of sad love-situation (the lyrics are about being unable to stop thinking of person, like an incurable disease, but no longer being able to love them) The things in the plastic bags are like her memories, and she feels both sad/happy as she remembers them. When she takes the pill, it's like artificial love she needs because she no longer has love in her life. ...At least this is my interpretation of it. Sorry for taking so long to respond to this!
