Gene's songs save Sonic Boom in fact do to This and the other Gene song's SB is my 3rd favorite KISS album ever Gene gets more kick ass with in KISS as time goes by.. Russian Roulette makes me think of a really heavy country song like Molly Hatchet only much heavier..

My only question with this album/tour cycle is with the setlist for the 2009 tour. Why didn't they play more of the album. This is a song that should have been played, as is "Hot And Cold", "When Lighting Strikes", and basically the entire album. The only song that I personally could do without is, "Say Yeah". Probably my all-around favorite on the album is "Danger Us". That song oozes with the aroma of Classic KISS, much like the entire album. The whole thing is great!

This sucks.I like that they went back to their 70s style, but the songs are weak compared to Love her all I can, Mr. Speed, Dr. Love etc. And the Ace and Peter impersonators are weird. Even Thayer's style is Ace ripped off. They aren't a serious band that is moving forward like when Bruce and the Erics were in the band.

Genes are all good and capture the seventies feel. Pauls I believe fall short. Paul's remind me of Crazy Nights and Hot in the Shade. Gene's and Eric's on this album hit the number.

this song is a kind of "nothin to lose" song, while "say yeah" is more of a "god gave rock n roll to u II" and they took a little from their whole career and put it into one cd. i personally loved every song. i guess it depends on ur taste.
