At first i thought that zhu zhu pets were just a waste of money. Oooh look! its a toy hamster that

runs! How original. And pathetic. But then i got one for Chritsmas and i tried it out. It was awesome! like a real hamster. i I learned that they aren't pathetic and they'r soo cute! I only have one and its name is Rori.

My dog is a Pomeranian mix and so a long time ago i let my zhu zhu pet around the house, and he started chewing on it and since he's really fluffy, it got stuck in his fur and i started crying because it was brand new and my dad spent 25 minutes with scissors and cut a chunk from my dogs fur and got my zhu zhu pet out. Ahhh, zhu zhu pets.

@ColinM0961 Why emphasis "Hamster" instead of "Real"? That would have made a bit more sense.

And anyway, not everyone can actually get a real hamster. That's like saying not to play shooting games and just to get a real gun, or don't play dog simulation games and get a real dog, or don't play baby games, have a real child.

Maybe the parent doesn't think the child's responsible enough for a real pet. Maybe they don't have room, or they're allergic. There's many reasons not to get a real pet.

yeah I just picked mine up today @ Shoprite! They are selling like crazy. Cheap for $10 per hamster. I am glad they had one with my name in it Jilly. Lol. Now I got my own hamster with the same name ^^ Plan on getting more soon. If we get more; we can have a hamster battle lol.

if u think about it u dont have to change there nasty cage, they do more then a real hamster, u dont have to feed them... and sure it may be cheaper to get a real one in the start but after u have to keep buyin its food and litter its cheaper to get these fake ones and enjoy them :)

don't really understand why people like these things. Sure, they don't have to be cleaned up after, but that is part of the fun that comes from owning animals(whatever they may be). When you have to take responsibility for something, like an animal, you will enjoy it much more. Also, real animals will react with the owner and provide a much more enjoyable experience. Owning a real animal is a useful life experience. owning a zhuzhu pet is not...
