True, but here's the thing; 27% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, critics panning it across the board, and a shitty video game to boot. It's kind of like the Street Fighter movie, in the sense that the Street Fighter movie game was a terrible thing based on a terrible movie based on a good game. So with Transformers, terrible game based on a terrible movie based on a good franchise. The only good part was Shia.

Since when did the opinions of "critics" become more valid than those of others??? Roger Ebert said that The Golden Compass was better than Lord of the Rings. Is he right, just because he's a well known "critic"?

We're ALL critics, buddy. Some of us just get paid for it.

And as far as the game goes, I could really care less about it. Video games licensed after movies tend to be crap anyway, regardless of whether the movie itself was good or not...

Really, the game doesn't matter, I just drew a comparison. As for the rest of the statement, critics who get paid for their opinions are smart and actually have a semblance of what they're talking about.  People who rant online are just that; people who rant online about how something was good or bad. They've got no credibility. I won't trust the opinions of someone who blatantly overlooks the faults of something and paints a happy face over everything. RotF sucked, and LP sucks.

Go fuck yourself. I saw every flaw, from how unrealistic Optimus Prime's hook arms looked, to how one Decepticon resembled Medusa too much, to the mucus on the mind probe thing looking like jello. AND I STILL LIKED THE MOVIE!!!

I may not be recognized as a critic, but I don't simply rant; I support things, despite flaws. Sure, the movie could've been better, but you're taking one little detail and making a mountain out of an anthill. Learn how to criticize a movie before ranting.
