Great video! I was looking to learn wc and maybe jkd and this video furthermore inspires me to learn not just ma but to find my own personal fighting style as well. Keep it up!
DAMN....that was a really really and i mean really good explanation of WC history as well as brief run through on jkd and wc principle....i ended up on this vid because i'm thinking of purchasing your dvd...and man you, your skill, and knowledge are pretty damn convincing...thank you for posting this vid:)
Adam, Thx for the commentary. I organize an open Wing Chun practice meetup in S. California and Wing Chun practitioners from many different lineages (as well as martial arts systems) have come through our group to train w/ us. Your assessment is in line w/ what I've seen. Thx for taking the time to post up this review.
Excellent, Adam (as usual)! Lots of great information is given here, and your skill level is most excellent! Very interesting alternate history of Wing Chun as well. If I could change only one thing, it would be to put the documentary in English! :-)
Awesome vid, so much history, it felt like a history lesson, learned so much. The only thing to improve is the sound quality, it was hard to hear what Adam said, luckily there were English subs. Adam, you have very good Cantonese! Keep up the amazing work and lessons!
Adam, thank you for your well thought out and researched video. This is a service to the Martial Arts Community to be able to see that Wing Chun is a rich and broad method. Fook Yueng my teacher would be pleased to see this. Nice to see Red Boat Wing Chun demonstrated here. Bruce Lee trained with Master Yueng for a long while in Seattle as you have pointed out. We teach Red Boat Wing Chun principles at The Little Dojo as part of the Fook Yueng Curriculum.
thank u steve ! !! :) For the readers here, The person i am responding to here (sspma) is Master Steve Smith, the inheritor / student of Mr. Fook Yeung ( Bruce Lee's red boat teacher) that I have mention in my clip above. Steve site is the littledojo
Thanks Adam for posting this. Relaxed, informative, well thought out and presented. And it's always a pleasure to watch you move. Nice work my friend.

This video touched on many interesting points. It seems like it was a taped interview, for one of the local Chinese media?
