Slide Away was a good vocal, but in terms of growth it was around the Headshrinker phase when his voice really took it's sneering shape. And then up to Be Here Now when it all started to fall to bits...

Of course I've heard it, but not really my thing. His voice is thinner and sounds a lot more tired than "the old Liam" for my liking.

And that's why I lose the interest in listening to him sing around that period onwards.

Much is made of the fact they are not quite as good as this anymore, but thats only because at their peak they were better than most bands have ever been.
