  • is youtube getting better? no

they waste a lot of our time for nothing

    1. suspend too many account

    2. screw up the site

    3. they will suspend your accont and any they know belong to you and that the kind of abuse that really pisses me off...their mafia

they get agitated very easily its bunch of punk is what it is

we the user need to them to know

we are in control they have been given power but they no responsiblity to take care of us and even themselves

  • Why would some of you people wish this on the nations capitol or anywhere else for that matter, just because the media didn't do their job? I would think you would hope no one else will have to suffer like that.

  • I am proud how nashville handled this.

  • The Reason they dint cover it was because the City of Nashville was taking care of it on their own. Nashville denied Federal aide. Kudos to Nashville. had the feds come in, the city would still be flooded. They took care of it on their own.

  • fake and gay

  • cmon its tennesee.. theres more incest going on there than in kentucky.. you can't help notice its retardville and we could do without.. espeically with those horrible uncomprehensible accents.

  • @bbender1986 WOW NICE ONE! Nice to know how some guy behind a computer screen thinks about us over here in Hickville, TN. How about you pat yourself on the back for that one. Seriously, how about you get your head out of your ass and do something productive then right a comment like this you yankee prick. I'd like to say other things but I'm to busy having a life. Goodbye.

  • I want to see some flood footage not your fat face

  • Why did the media forget about Nashville? I'll tell you why.

Instead of people standing on the rooftops shaking fists and blaming the government, the good people of the Volunteer state stood up and starting getting shit done. Money, aid, food, shelter for the victims. Volunteers driving across the state to help the victims.

The media forgot about Nashville because of Tennessee's reaction. Instead of whining and moaning, we manned up and took care of business without a word of complaint.

  • i love how when it rains we blame it on other ppl its retarted no one did anything..... it rained alot if they didnt open the flood gates a little bit it would have busted the dams an killed everyone in nashville take this from some 1 who was affected in the flood an had to help clean up while ppl that arnt affected sit back an party

  • Sadly this took place in one of my favorite places. I am glad to see that every thing is OK now. I am now in Nashville in process to get a job and play keyboards. My family had wished all of these bad things to take place in Tennessee to keep me from relocating to Nashville. They also hope that I would come back to Austin, TX to be with the family. Also hope that I would not get a good job in order stay in Nashville

  • Thank you for trying to get out the word. I am in saddened by the fact that this flood was the worst in recorded history and nobody will remember it but those of us who experienced it. It is to our credit that we are coming back as fast as we are without outside help. Sorry you didn't get to experience our great town while you were here.

  • I would love to See Washington D.C. In High Water like Nashville and i am not going to send my hard dollar to support those stupid idoits in our so called Nation Capital to help them out . God Bless Nashville ,Tn

  • @Danboy5050 no duh. the gates WERE opened. they ANNOUNCED it on the news before doing so so that people could evacuate! i know i was there when it happened. they did it to prevent even worse damage and loss of life.

  • @Danboy5050 wow seriously. i live in nashville. they gave fair warning to everyone that they were opening them to prevent even worse damage u idiot. freakin paranoid.

  • why would they cover this? there are people getting hit on boats on the other side of the world. that is clearly more important than this!! All the national news people need to go to hell for their lack of caring.

  • i'd love to see washington get flooded. then we'd see what happens when the media throws a field day about it and no one else gives a shit.

  • It is all good and welll- --but where are the photos of Nashville?

  • @baroneska100 Again not the point of the video.

  • New Orleans was forgotten huh? Well, at least everyone in New Orleans knew a week in advance that the storm was coming, we weren't given a week to hit the road, we woke up to water over our dang heads. There might have been water in katrina, but it was deeper, swifter and deadlier in TN. And were there reports of looting and crime during this tragedy...heck no there weren't. We bounced back quicker from a bigger punch we didn't see coming..all by oursleves. I'm proud of this state.

  • Not enough of a "victim zazz". That makes for much better TV. No one wants to see people putting their head down and quietly getting to work. It's more exciting to see a bunch of able bodied men and women cry about how nobody is helping them. Just get a couple of Nashville citizens to stand in a big group and cry, "We've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas! Please think for us we can't bear to!"

  • Yea, um...where's Oprah and Obama messiah? Everyone sends money to people in Haiti who aren't even US citizens which I thought was a really stupid thing to do because there's sooo many people right here in the US who need help - homeless people and people who are unemployed. And now we have this disaster. We need to take care of our people. If all the money that was sent to Haiti were kept here in this country, think how much better off everyone would be.

  • @Danboy5050 Because the government doesn't like us little ol' Republicans (I am NOT a member of the Tea Party). What are they expecting? Another Civil War? ::eyeroll:: But i do believe, even without having to look it up, that they opened flood gates; it makes a lot of sense... The government, anyway, has WAY too much power, especially since they can endanger MILLIONS of lives by being stupid.

  • @Danboy5050 LOL What? Did they also make it rain 20 inches? Is there a damn conspiracy theory for everything?

  • I actually knew about it the w/e it was happening from comments on facebook plus it was covered extensively on the weather channel.. other than that, yes it was on the national cable news here and there but it wasn't a huge story on constantly.. it was covered much like tornados are... probably b/c it was a flood caused by rain, and not a huge hurricaine. Don't forget Katrina ravaged a city in poverty, thousands stuck in a stadium, no food or water for days.

  • Agreed about the media... I didn't hear about this until days after it happened... I used to spend summers in Nashville, I'm absolutely devastated by this news :(

  • @yellowsharpie16 Yeah I live in Knoxville, TN and our business had tons of people from nashville

  • We should know by now that the Media has its own agenda. This is a prime example. Of course this story should have received prime coverage but you know what they don't care. All that staged pathos for this or any other tragedy is all to sell product. Perhaps the other stories had more sex appeal or suited someone else's agenda. Now that news has leaked out they figure they can get some market share mileage. Anderson can go to hell and all of the rest of the mannequins

  • I was at a convention out off Briley in Nashville the whole weekend... What a fun exprience driving back in the rain. Thank-you for posting this video. The national press I think doesn't give any care to Nashville, a city I know so well. And since I didn't have a TV in my dorm room, I had no idea the Symphony Hall was flooded. My heart broke to that....

Maybe they'll rebuild Opryland since the mall is gone.....

  • @UsagiLovesCookies Yeahh bring back the theme park!! :)

  • Thank you!

  • Why are some national disaster news worthy and others are not? What makes Nashville unworthy and NOLA is news for years. I don't get it. Why doesn't anyone care?

  • FUCK NASHVILLE

  • @1BlAz3D your a bitch fuck you if i saw you i would fuck ur world up

  • @1BlAz3D say that to the loved ones of the people who lost thier lives and home in this flood asshole

  • Thank you Rick!! You took the words right out of my mouth!! Thank you for speaking up!! Kim Austin proud of Nashville and Tennesseans!!!! GO VOLUNTEERS!

  • I wonder if Matthew(#whatever) be so quick to deny the need for government aid or public awareness if he had lost everything he owned and had no insurance. I suspect not. The situation here is tragic. We do not need cynics like him sending negative thoughts our way.

  • im tired of every city panicing shitless when a natural disaster hits. Cmon, people need to do shit for themselves, america needs to stop depending on government!damn im sick of this shit.

  • @Mathew1985AZ OH, that it will happen to you sometime.

  • Thank you so much and thanks for not blaming Bush for this too!

  • @mscaggs LOL Why would I blame Bush for this? Cute though.

  • I think wut ur tryin 2 sa is that there hasn't been much of a helpful response (cash, manpower, FEMA, or othrwise) b-cuz, I've been watchin NBC Nightly News w/ Brian Williams report on it since the flooding. Everything u mentioned (physical locations) has been shown on vid. It is 3:45 PM here in PTLD. OR. & I'll b watchin at 5:30. I hope the sit has improved, altho, doesn't it seem as if the world is goin down the crapper.

  • @DAJONES63 not until yesterday... Anderson Cooper was the first to be on the ground reporting from Nashville.

  • Thank you for supporting Red Cross to help Middle TN...many towns are in trouble.

  • Hey Rick you should learn to like country music, you are living in a country music song. Other then that good vid. Thanks for bringing attention to the Nash.

  • @CrandallUSA LOL You are right, I am living a country song right now!

  • "Case closed." You are right about that. Even if they got the wrong guy, the bomb was a dud.

  • @storagecasa Okay I will bite, they got the wrong guy?

  • Just watched Anderson Cooper reporting on this. Kudos for acknowledging the lack of media. So sad watching my home city under water. Now living in Philly and going to get my co-workers involved with donations.

Good Luck Nashvillians! My Prayers are with you.

  • @JackieO1208 Remember Anderson Cooper will be in Nashville tonight reporting live and apologizing for not covering the events here sooner.

  • Glad to hear you are okay baby! Love the new high def look!

  • @DanielleMuff Thanks honey!

  • Thank you for putting this up. We have the same thing here. well we did last year. Only a small town or two or three but we were trashed . Roads remain closed and bridges down a year later. with signs like - CLOSED INDEFINITELY.

Its eerie isn't it? The world pretending nothing has happened. All the best to Nashville,. We have heard nothing here in Oz at all - just one Keith Urban messsage. Strange new world.

  • amazing quality! nice. still praying for everyone in nashville, i love tennessee!

  • @billyboe92 Thank you! The new FlipHD is fantastical!

  • Thank you.. I have live in Nashville for 5 years now.. its my adopted home, and my heart is broken by this... but thanks for it.

  • I hope Graceland HOME OF ELVIS PRESLY was not flooded ! I live about 15 min from downtown Nashville and it is a mess in Hendersonville ,Goodlettsville < Franklin Historic Franklin has civil war sites etc Andrew Jacksons Home , This is terrible !

  • @kellyelainewright61 Honey that is in Memphis. :D

  • @ReallyRick Memphis is flooded too,Honey !

  • @ReallyRick I live in Nashville hello !

  • @ReallyRick Thank you ,BTW for speaking up For us but it is all over Tenn . I have some video see" I survived the Great Monsoon in Nashville " FB PAGE for some awesome photo's over 13 hundred photos

  • Really rick, thats such a douchebad name..lol I live in Nashville and ur being a drama queen, seeking attention

  • I agree that the time square "bomber" more like stupid fuck who can't even build a bomb right, isn't important that it needs to be top story for a week.

But that Oil spill could of and still can effect the whole world, which is more important than Nashville flooding.

But yeah they need to open up some news about Nashville.

  • I'm with you on the rant. Nashville is going to need tons of help re-building the city and it's gonna take quite awhile to get it bad in shape. I was there back in November (a lifelong dream come true to be there) and it just breaks my heart to see this place in this much trouble. We need to help Nashville!!

  • because its not political enough for the news. Just like the car bomb, oil slick, and the protesters in Az..
