Well, I suppose it's because Takuya is the 'main character' and 'leader' of this generation of kids.

In Digimon Adventure Taichi usually lead the group, 02 was Daisuke, Tamers was (sometimes) lead by Takato, Savers was lead by Masaru, ect.

Can't really think of any other reason why. xD

I didn't mix these songs, but I'm not sure whether the mix is official or not. :/

I believe that a radio station mixed the songs together for use, but, again, I'm not sure.

Oh...there's two possibilities. The first possibility is the episode right after Cherubimon gets defeated, and IceDevimon puts Takuya and Koji in that ice sphere so they can't do anything. The second possibility is the episode where they all crash land on the moon, and only Kouichi is awake. Koji is unconscious then...

Unless maybe you're thinking of the episode where he's fighting Duskmon's Beast spirit, and gets hurt and can't get up...that's when Ophanimon shoots that light out of Koji's D-tector into Duskmon's Beast Spirit's middle eye and gets him to leave Koji alone for a minute. But no worries, Koji never stays injured for long. :D
