Thanks Jerry, this is great. You didn't waste our time, you assumed we already know the basics of using windows, and got us some good essential info FAST :)
Great Video! I spent 3 hours today at work figuring out what you just showed in 10 mins. However, I didn't know about the "SS" trick that you showed. It will come in handy.
it'd be easier if he says the task in its line # rather than saying the whole task name: e.g saying activity #3 in lieu of 'prepare Use Case'...making it simple to follow up as most of viewers are not familiar with this specific project details...as I'm a construction engineer. ...but I did learn from this easy to follow videa as a biggenner...thnx
It really very well presented, can you also tell about how to define plan vs actual and variance and details about resource allocation and dependency on resources.
i don't like MS project, because it's impossible for me to predict how long it will take me to do one thing, let alone 40 things. And if someone interrupts me and destroys my timeline, am i allowed to adjust my timeline, or am i still supposed to meet all my due dates? It's the boss' job to tell me when i need something done,. If it's my job to make my own detailed timeline, i'm going to make the due dates as far out as possible, and they will NOT be set in stone.
If you are a PM you have to make all decision nad you have to mange all the task. If something goes wrong, u just hav to modify that task n all will get modified iff ur all task are linked
@perejilperejil Hi.. Please do you know what is the 3 55 'predecessor' of the Identify Constrain ? I mean I understand that 3 is the third in sequence but what is the 55 ?? Thanks
Very clear, step by step. Your accent was a little difficult to understand at times, though, but am so grateful that you took the time to share this that it overrides that concern.
Thanks, this is a great primer! Much appreciated.

@16048137
it might means 3SS not 3 55 SS stands for Start to Start. Meaning that activity 4 starts at the very same moment where task3 starts.
perejilperejil 1 year ago
@16048137
Hey its not 55, It is SS i.e. Start to Start..(Both the tasks should start at the same time)
