It was actually made because a friend of mine went for a ride in the Hudson and as he withdrew from the turret the aircraft went into a steep bank and he somehow lost track of where his stomach was in relation to the rest of his body and was unfortunately ill.
Yes, it's marked as a 2 Squadron RAAF aircraft and flies with the Temora Aviation Museum in New South Wales. It's the only airworthy Hudson in the world.
