Show Randy in '81 Santa Monica Civic. Sixth row center and he came out into the audience playing with a wireless during the show and was soloing like crazy. He came up to me in the aisle and stood on my seat where I proceeded to hold him up!
Because that was so much fun, my buddy and I sneaked backstage and got to meet him! Great guy and amazing player!
I read that Earl Hendrix went to see Hanson play and stepped into the elevator on his way to the dressing rooms meeting Hanson unexpectently. He paused for a moment and finally said, "Hi Jimi, how've you been"
Randy,Jimi must have come to you in your sleep and siad carry on my music, you are Hendrix re-born how do you master his songs so easly? The world will never get tired of his and your music. I hope you will write some songs of your own in Hendrix style. Keep up the good work dude.

I knew Randy back in the early 70's. Saw him at the Paramount in Seattle in 78 I think it was. One of the best shows ever.
