  • i have a polaris 600iq mod wit camoplast 1 3/4 in. track, twin mod slp pipes, and i bought it myself cause my parents dont buy me everythin i want, idc tho,but i work for my shit

  • its only 2 feet of water, ive done it over 30ft. and im 14, youre a pussy

  • @loperds25 lol bad ass 14 year old here!

  • Nice. I love sledding over water.

  • he was almost sinking you can tell because the water got no good

  • i have a 87' ski doo, that i take acrost full blown rivers, like the penobscot, in maine, or the pemi, in new hampshire, and is is a 377

  • HOW DEEP IS THAT 2FT HAHAHAHA

  • doesn't matter if the water is 2 feet or 20 feet. the only diff will be how far down you gotta go to get it if you sink.

  • tru dat, i side with 2 feet

  • Usually and the little stream i use for drinking water is deeper than that

  • my bath tub is deeper than that

  • I live in Alaska where there is fuckin deep snow here. My cousin who lives here is only 12 or 13 can skip water better then u.

  • Excellent, i'm glad for you and your cousin!

  • hahaa nice response :P

  • @laynebartman1996 dude grow the fuck up

  • @laynebartman1996 i live in alaska too

  • @laynebartman1996 suck dick u troll! Atleast he made it! You and ur cousin is fake and gay!

  • @laynebartman1996 lets see a video

  • Man I can skip our river here and I'm just 12 with my cheap ass 550 polaris trail the old kind like 15 yr old snowmobile.

  • How deep is that?

  • It is about 3 feet deep

  • thats a river????it looks like a flooded road

  • where was this video taken

  • that shit is way shallow....

  • i bet ur truck wont make it through.

  • lol when your fishing on a rive rin minnesota this is a regular sight

  • One year in Thief River Falls, Minnesota (home of Arctic Cat), they held races on the river in July. The snowmobiles would take off from the beach, make three or four laps around some buoys, and then race back to the finish line on the beach. Of course, some didn't make it so they had a retrieval boat with a tripod and winch on it. Exciting!

  • was the engine hot after you finished??

  • No, the sled is liquid cooled and the water is just above freezing temperatures.

  • cold water cools better than snow also

  • who needs a jet-ski!!

  • well i have done this be for in WI on a lake that had a part that was not frozen you have to go full speed in lean back its really scary because you fell like you are sinking

  • with a desent sled you can drive the skis into the water, stop, and then give it full trottle and go how far you want.

  • um, go fast

  • the track keeps them going you could evan do this on a dirtbike / raceing quad as long as u keep your speed up the skies will stay aboce water and then ur good

  • apparently they say the trick is to keep the power on full all of the time!

  • not too much power tho... some sleds if overpowered in the water will do a ski-stand... and then sink... ive done it... lol

  • you don't need to go full speed. depending on the machine you can start with your skis in the water. me and my buddies have skipped water on a mx z 700 wit 2 ppl. you just need a machine wit a good body line for buoyancy. polaris/cat/ski doo all pretty good on water// yamaha is a bad idea! v-shaped nose cuts the water instead of hydroplaning.

  • Unless your skis are underwater the yamaha v shape has nothing to do with skipping.

  • absolutely does. Works the same was a a hovercraft. The cusion of air between the the belly pan and the water helps create lift under the front end. If the belly is flat it works great. The v shape causes the air to pass out the sides creating less lift and allowing front end sag.

  • it dont matter since my sleds skis are always off the ground haha

  • @lloydc199207, depending on how much hp and what track you have.

  • lol he was havin hell at the end

  • thats lame just goin stait fuckinA low down while goin and just gunn it after u slow downn...then u will pop a wheelie(if that junk do it)OR ATLEAST TURN in the water...we live near the coast and we sometimes go to the to the beack and go starit out and go back to the place u started...its exiting..

  • Sounds kewl. Post a video.

  • I didint know you could go that slow and stay on top of the water!!!

  • $hi!'s Weak!

  • lol Grandmas boy haha

  • I hit stuff like that all the time on my M7

  • not if hes going fast enough smart one

  • untill he passes the camera hes a ditch about a 1inch deep. other wise his tail would be sinking some

  • agreed.

  • if he's got enough momentum his sled wont sag in the rear at all. works under the same concept as a vehicle hydroplaning. we did this all the time on the lake where i grew up. watched a zr600 skip approximately 13km, turn and come back all the way along the shoreline.

  • The ditch is well over 18 inches deep the entire run, except over the field access. The faster you go the more the sled will lift out of the water.

  • thats ridiculouse

  • That looks like such a sick spot to skip. you guys should run beside him in a car and film. Where abouts is that?
