great to see how a radio station, also on HF antennas in order to modulate from 160 meters to 10 meters and 6 meters. I have recently entered this wonderful world of radio, but I have little ability to pay but really want to do. I wish I could make the contest with America and around the world chgiedo information to you that you are a pilot of the frequencies that make antenna to make a one-off fee and you are in attendance. Good to have an elmer on You Tube to rely upon for technician encouragement! Wish our local clubs here in Walker County, Alabama would take a little extra time out of their routines to do same! We TRY!! QSL??
Our club starts by going around the room and we introduce our selves and there is usually someone new or just got their license. We also have a pizza night during the 2M net, another chance for the new guys to meet and talk with the club members.
@K7AGE Will do, I'm pretty confident about taking the test since pairing your videos with the ARRL Ham Radio License Manual. Keep uploading videos, please!
You can do either. Many just use the computer's mic and speaker for echolink. I have my computer interfaced to a radio, so that I can use the HT around the house. Everyone should use the Echolink test server to hear how their audio sounds. The test server records your audio and plays it back. I have many connects with audio so low that I can not hear the person. Also using the laptop's built in mic is poor, as it picks up a lot of room noise. Randy
watch the levels on your echolink and make sure that you have alot of blue and some but not too much yellow that will show you that you have optimal sound and will be easy to copy
73 and if you have any more questions my echolink node is N5VAG-L

I have a question, do you have to hook a radio up to the computer to transmit over echolink, or can you just use a microphone into the computer?
