  • @leesetters Yes. Somehow, I could even see Sarah remarrying Prince Andrew in the near future. I think only the prospect of having to deal with the flunkies in the royal household that seems to be a problem for Sarah.

  • I think most of you are really cynical. How many people have to balance being a Queen, a mother, a grandmother all at once. Again, she didn't put herself first, she looked after her grandchildren and then the country. Nobody seems to care about what she must have been going through.

  • Harrowing my arse, they would be jumping up up and down with glee if their poncey arses could get away with it.

  • The Welsh Guard looks like a bunch of those decorative nutcrackers.

  • che pena per enry e williams

  • R.I.P Princess Diana.

  • I think the royal family were happy to have her gone... Just proves how much the people love diana though, no one can forget how much she was loved and how much she loved the everyday person.

  • I think they respected her as a person and as the mother of William and Harry. As a daughter in law, I don't know, but I don't think they were overjoyed.

  • The Royal Family underestimated her "power" as a loving person. It took the British people's insistence and support of Diana to wake them up. I really don't think the Queen and Royal Family realized how close they came to losing the manarchy during those weeks. The people were no longer going to tolerate their stuffiness and ignorance of Diana's importance to them.

  • RIP

  • My Lord, The Queen was glad not have to compete with Lady Di and her enormous understanding of the average human being. Queen doesn't know how much the average person suffers.

  • Untrue.

  • The lessoned from this is to tell people that they are "loved, admired & respected" WHILE THEY ARE STILL HERE!!! Don't wait until AFTER they are gone to tell them... Tell them to their FACE, not while they're in their coffin!

  • PeggyCHEWtube,

You're entitled to your opinion, but consider this: would you say the same if there was a King of England who stood there, solemn? I don't think so, and so must be the Queen.

Our only knowledge of the behind- scenes thoughts and actions of the Royal family were the speculations of the media and a major Hollywood film. This doesn't mean there isn't dysfunction in the Royal family, but none of us has walked in their shoes. It must be so very difficult.

  • No just blue blooded

  • god the queen is just so cold blooded

  • not one of them look sad, just bothered to have to be there

  • Where are the 2 young Princes?

  • You'll see them in Part 10, coming out from the side road to march behind their mother's coffin.

  • I feel so sorry for will and harry:(

  • I was SO glad the royal family was MADE to wait for Diana to pass by them!! She was treated abominably by most of them. To see the Queen having to stand and wait and wait and wait for Diana's funeral procession brought a smile to my face on what was a most sad day in so many people's lives. Diana, you were loved by those who counted. May you rest in peace, English Rose.

  • What happened in your life in 1949, 1994 and 1996?

  • Charles may have treated her bad but the queen was the one whom Diana has wronged. No offense or anything but I definitely feel for the queen. She was nothing but nice to Diana. Even Sarah Ferguson said that she still loves and admires the queen after everything that had happened. It was unfair for the queen who was deeply embarassed by Diana's exploits to be the one to bow down to her. Knowing how my grandmother feels about her disrespectful in-laws, my heart definitely goes out to the queen.

  • agreed

  • That was very nice of the Queen to invite Sarah Ferguson as well, after her divorce with Andrew she wasn't welcome anymore in the Royal Family and never will be. Nice to see them all together and forget the scandalous past for a brief moment.

  • Fergie is the mother of two of the Queen's grand-children. Fergie and Diana were estranged at the time of Diana's death. Fergie tried to make up with her, but Diana didn't want it. Fergie has a role to play because she is mother to Beatrice and Eugenie, and had an amicable divorce from Andrew. Diana and Charles did not have an amicable divorce. The Queen is acting on the orders of the Prime Minister, Tony Blair. It is well-known what she really thought of Diana, and vice versa.

  • Correct again. A statement from Sarah Ferguson was read to the inquest in which she confirmed that she had not spoken to Diana since 1995. She also confirmed she had received no nasty letters from Prince Philip, again delivering a devasting blow to the conspiracy theorists' idiotic and baseless claims.

  • IT's Gas As We Say In Ireland

  • For a woman who was out'ed by the Royal family..... Shows even MORE disrespect in her passing to come out on horses.... yhey wanted her dead but not as an heir to the throne...

  • lovely lady. incredible misfortune .

  • Does anyone know on which part we can see Tom Cruise,Steven Spielberg,Tom Hanks and Nicole Kidman entering the cathedral? The one that we can see in the film "Queen" ?

  • Only 10 years...

Since then, many who were seen and spoken of have long since gone. Pavarotti, Robin Cook, Princess Margaret, The Queen Mother..

  • I miss her so much!!! I love you Diana!

  • That's sweet. Thanks for commenting on a neglected segment of the footage!

  • hard to believe it's been 10 years since her death....

  • Someone remarked, "that bell"...it is surely a powerful sound. Adds to the importance of the event.

  • I agree. The simple sound of the Abbey Bell once every minute freezes my blood.
