Can you do the same comparing a Hero2 and Liquid Image Impact 1080p. I like the Impact form factor better but I would like to compare sound and image. Can you use the sound from one half the time and from the other one the rest of the time?

Sorry but your wrong. This was a straight up comparison of the two cameras, i NEVER tweak the cameras before or after.. it would defeat the purpose of trying to show people what they can expect from the product. We sell all kinds of POV cameras, so to try and make one look better then the other on purpose would be like me selling you dirt flavoured ice cream and telling you it's chocolate... you will know I'm lying as soon as you taste it:)

@far0ashgar Angle its not fake, its seems so because i suppose this was recorder in 1080p with both cams but on Hero 2 you can set 170 degrees angle and on Hero max angle in 1080p is 127,thats why it looks fake.T he H2 was set on 170 and the comparison should have been made on both cameras on 127 angle, then the H2 would not had a wider image.

@Srachi The point of the video was to show the new image the GoPro 2 can give you! I kept it wide to demonstrate what the new GoPro is capable of. Not trying to make it fair.. the GoPro 2 is now just a better camera overall and gives you a larger field of view with a much sharper and richer image. No point in showing anything less then the full potential of this camera!

Just received my new Hero2 (HumbleOutdoors ... free 16GB SD Card.. great price ). I totally agree , the Hero2 is a more then worthy successor. My kayak shots with the Hero2 have far more detail.

@TheTacticalDefender well there is a LCD BACPAC that you can attach that will show you vividly whats in your frame... but as you can see the GoPro is crazy wide. So as long as you point in the general direction, you or your buddy will always be in the shot!

The biggest change from the Hero 1 to the Hero 2 is that the lens on the Hero 2 is MUCH better at changing the amount of light to let into the lens. You can tell this by looking at recordings of night time.

remember guys if you get one of these your prob gonna do some crazy sport that might break it so if your just doing simple head cams for yourself i think you should get the hero 1 but if you want edits and proper footage then i think the hero 2 is the way to go

I love my new GoPro hero ,does the hero 2 have the same magnification as the hero 1 ? I filmed a deer archery hunt and it was awesome and my next skydive will be with the hero !
