  • who the hell is Hank 3

  • It's like it must have been when Miss Audrey was singing with the Drifting Cowboys, an elbow in the gut I reckon.

RIP , John, June, Hank, and Miss Audrey.

  • R.I.P, June and Johnny. Hank 3 carries the flag of True Country, now.

  • @MrShalvayez Hank III? Naw...I'd say Jayme Johnson. Hank III plays punk and metal. Kinda eliminates him, doncha think?

  • @MrShalvayez who? let me guess...Jett had something to do with this....lol

  • need to see more couple to this enjoying each other

  • So much in love were these two that he died a few months after she passed over.

  • HA HA HA - That is great!

  • Someone call the police someone's strangling cats here

Oh never mind it's Johnny and June

Did she take his speed or have too many beers

She's having problems just singing in tune

  • @epsteinsmutha1 You've gotta be kidding me. Another clueless fool.

  • @leDouchey "Clueless fool"? Um, did you pay attention to the way the lines are set up? While you're calling someone a clueless fool it's set up to be sung to the melody of "PFFT! You Were Gone."

    leDouchey indeed.

  • @epsteinsmutha1 Because it is "Hee-Haw", and this skit was done in a joking manner...as was the rest of the show. This show is no American Idol, this show was good. She was JOKING.

  • @leDouchey Yeah, I KNOW. Do me/yourself a favor. Go back and sing the lines I wrote to the melody before you go looking for something to get upset about and start calling people "clueless fool."

The best line in the episode was during the "Pickin' and Grinnin'" when Roy asked Johnny if it was true he and June were going to have another kid and Johnny said, "Well Roy, you always need to have a little Cash around."

  • @leDouchey Yeah, I KNOW. Do me/yourself a favor. Go back and sing the lines I wrote to the melody before you go looking for something to get upset about and start calling people "clueless fool."

  • @epsteinsmutha1 "She's having problems singing in tune" is what you said. I said "She was JOKING." Plain and simple, just like your mind.

  • Oh my goodness, I love them <3

  • Actually,it was titled "PFFT! You Were Gone!",but, nice try! LOL! Love June & Johnny's take of this "Hee Haw" classic,BTW!

  • I was a kid and this was when I loved my country so much. We had pure real natural entertainers that grew up in the worst times and wars of our lives. SO DAMN WHAT THEY WERE NOT PERFECT. I so much loved to see Minnie Pearl and Roy Clark and the gang! The jokes were stale but still better than everything ending up in sexual everything.THIS COUNTRY HAD CHARACTERS FROM EVERYWHERE. Now, the communist way---everyone being the same and not being their best--just mediocre--permeates the countryscape

  • You could see johnny cracking up with his back turned. I love their relationship. She could really make him laugh.

  • I would love to see the one with Slim Whitman on HEE HAW doing this posted here sometime was absolutley priceless !!! anyone have it???

  • LOL...too funny. i think she caught him right in the liver with that elbow :~) June had quite a wit, very funny lady. She and Johnny were entertainers in the deepest sense of the word. Rest in peace!

  • I think she was drunk singing here!

  • jeez she really belted him with the elbow!

    :)

  • cool stuff........

  • I love them ! best country couple to ever be lol so cute and funny :)

  • HORSE APPLES!

  • May Johnny and June rest in peace. They were awesome at what they did.

  • Love it..lol

  • Oddly enough, their chemistry doesn't work as well as that of Archie Campbell and Gordie Tapp.

  • Good timin couple

  • If you can find some old Country music color videos from the 1950's..June was very much a comedienne..and very funny, too! If she had just done comedy and not sang, she would still be just as famous..

  • Holy Crap, Johnny ain't wearin black! lol.

  • I just had to laugh at this old skit and notice how young a certain someone is.....

  • LOL I never knew Johnny and June did one of these Hee Haw song sketches together, 0:19-0:20 it looked like that shoulder jab hurt a bit.

  • No she wasn't drunk, she use to be a comedienne this is the way she acted. Look back in time.

  • I love when he accidently hits her in the head

  • OMG JOHNNY CASH! KICK ASS!!!!

  • She was drunk.

  • Classic!!!!

  • dont quit your day job June

  • Man in black <3

  • Shouldn't he have on black overalls?

  • Is it just me, or did June seem a bit hammered in this skit?

  • nervous? no way! she'd been on stage since the age of 3!

  • @mKafir she was 9 when she was on stage as the carter sisters your thinking on anita her little sister :)

  • June was probably just overly nervous.

  • God Im laughin so hard im cryin ha ha

  • She was bombed. The rest of the episode proved it.

  • yeah i was trying to figure out if she was drunk or just pretending to be drunk.

  • amazing. you gotta put up more

  • Not to worry,June COULD sing.

  • She was joking for the show

  • lmao

  • June had dabbled in comedy on and off over the years - let's not forget that she recorded with Homer & Jethro on their butchering of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" back in 1949. (Which they revived in 1970 when H & J appeared as guests on "The Johnny Cash Show.")

  • Howdy! This just brings a warmth to my heart. Goodness gracious they were the best .. and all my best to all their fans - Judd Jugmonger

  • Hilarious! Was June drinking corn liquor? I swear this show was the best!

  • that was funny right there june and johnny the way they messed that song up

  • notice that what June was singing about was when johnny asked her to marry him on stage way back in 1968

    Great!

    H@NN@H

  • Too funny; wish we had the whole clip. Thanks for posting.

  • Love June and Johnny. She got a rib tickler out of johnny on the elbow Que.

  • lol.NOW THAT was good television

  • Please post more! This brings back memories.

  • Chorus:

Where, oh where, are you tonight?

Why did you leave me here all alone?

    I searched the world over,

And thought I found true love.

    You met another and

    Phht! you were gone

  • "where or where are you tonight why did you leave me here all alone?! I searched the world all over and thought I found true love, you met another and pft! you were gone! "

God I love June and Johnny!

    Thanks for this post

  • the sad part is, is that i actually remember this. i was a little girl, but i do remember it.

  • they still play it! i watched it a couple days ago

  • just not here where i live.

  • I wonder if she broke a rib?? :)

  • Johnny and June --ROTFLMAO

  • June and Johnny were the "First Couple" of country music! They always looked like they enjoyed being with each other. I really miss them.

  • I live about 3 miles from where Johnny and June lived. June's funeral was carried live on television, and Johnny looked absolutely devastated. I felt so sorry for him. He didn't live very long without June, poor man.

  • @irishcopper1

You're not the only one..Lots of us miss the both of them..

  • It's excellent! Thanks for sharing! :)

  • OML that was funny...I saw Johnny's cash????lol

  • funny :D
