As far as bisexuality, or heterosexuality, or homosexuality goes, we are who we are. I think labels can be too binding... I first tell people im bi to be clear I guess but then explain, well not really, im me as in, mesexual. I like what I like and no one else is exactly the same. Honestly I dont think anyone is 100? straight or 100? gay, but I cant speak for other people... at least i think everyone is capable of some degree of homoeroticism if they wernt so supressed.
I agree bravo! Well said. But do we have to accept gay republicans? Seriously I'd love to hear your thoughts on that. What about the GLBT population that is ultra conservative and fights against their own rights. I've met several gay guys who are against gay marriage, who believe they should not be covered under insurance, who believe that is a special right and would hurt the economy. Their words, not mine. Full equality for all, not just rich white men.
OMG THANK YOU THIS IS SOOO TRUE i hate when people say "your either a fag or your straight" no thats not the fucking case.....i love the dick and i love the vagg.....its just me!!! so fuck the haters :) :PP
im Bi I love both women and men equally so that question "Do you like boys or girls more?" is very irrelevant and irritating... and in being in a relationship with a female we are both women.. I dont go for studs and since I am Bi if I want a "dude" I could just go with one
Being bisexual is hard for me because I am attracted to the female gender, but I am IN LOVE with a guy (been together for 18 months now). I don't "like"another guys or guys as a whole. Yes, I like acting gay sometimes, but I look, act, dress, talk, and have a personality of a straight guy. I wish people weren't so stupid and ignorant to understanding different sexualitys than heterosexual.
I just wish people had more of an open mind to the world around them.
I believe I am bisexual. Only because I don't really think about gender when I like someone. I just go with what makes me happy, be it man or woman. I do tend to find myself looking at a man's chest and buttocks though, however I am most certainly sexually attracted to some women as well. It's complicated... Which is why, like I said, I try to not think about gender.
Oh god shut up ! you're gay. You get you asshole pounded in by dicks everyday . If being gay was supposed to be right then don't you think there would only be one gender. God made adam and eve not adam and steve. or eve and evelyn.
@DHinton09 Understand that I usually only reply to comments that I find utterly ridiculous, but yours actually left me speechless for a minute, so... Kudos. Back to the matter at hand, obviously different genders is only a title. We are in reality only one species, and because we have to label things out of ignorance we called humans with vaginas and ovaries FEMALE and humans with penis and testicles MALE. However, we are all human. Even animals have homosexuality. It is natural.
Being a Bisexual Male, I've never had any problem with the gendering thing. But I have had lots of people ask me about being bisexual. And the question I seem to get the most is, " So like boys and girl, but you lean more towards blank?" This for me is something that pisses me off. I don't think you can consider yourself Bisexual if your lean towards one sex or the other, or is that wrong?
@YasonRoven When it comes down to it, 'bisexuality' is a label. More to help others understand what you're attracted to than for yourself. Someone can definately be on the border of gay/bi or straight/bi, and they are fully in their own right to assume whichever 'label' they think works best. So long as they feel comfortable with it and don't feel they're lying to themselves or others by saying it.
I've come out pansexual to my peers, (bisexual, actually, because pansexual would be too hard to explain to those morons) and EVERY TIME they either back up like I have a disease, tell me it's a sin to God, or ask "So, you want to do me, right?". FFFFF--
Aside from that mini rant, bisexuality, pansexuality, asexuality, all sexualities are totally okay and natural. We really aren't different from anyone else.
This isn't a normal question for me but now that you talk about it, it is really an eye opener bc although I don't talk about it I see relationships in a female/male sort of role thing no matter what the sex is, which is weird huh? I was raised with this mentality so I guess it's hard to break idk. But no matter what someones sexuality is I do not judge them bc of it. I accept them for who they are as a person.
On the first topic; I don't think any relationship should have to be labelled by gender. If a woman in a hetero-relationship wants to be "the man" she should be. I prefer to be "the man" in that I like to be chivalrous &take care of my partner. But I would never say "I'm the man".
On bisexuality, I am one. But I also believe everyone is a little bi ("pansexual" works better) No sexuality is concrete all the time. Everyone wavers, even asexuals. Love is love, no matter the dangley-bits.
I used think that all are born as bisexuals, from which the person then situates to certain preference of men or women, but on the other hand I'm starting now to understand how foolish and childish that division of extremes is, and how thinking sexuality through sexes is quite something, and that perhaps we should just love the persons, but I don't know. I just know that I mostly get attracted to men and I can't see women in any sexual way, so I don't know... world's a strange place :D
@2012HT I personally agree with that statement. How a person acts is based on one set of hormones, what a person is attracted to is based on another different set. So, stereotyping homosexuals is obviously foolish. And really, no matter what it goes up, a man is pleasured because of certain nerves. Nothing mental about sexuality, it's all just chemical. And sometimes those chemicals mix. A guy acts very masculine, but is attracted to the scent of men. Or vice versa.
Stupidest thing I have ever heard someone say regarding bisexuality - "You can't marry a bi woman, because what happens when she wants to have sex with another woman?"
*head hits desk*
What happens if a straight man marries a blonde, and then wakes up one morning in the mood for a brunette??? You don't ponder having sex with someone else when you're in a relationship! (Unless the relationship's not going very well :P ) Love is a lot stronger than just plain old sexual desire, you know!
@creektimothy Really, I think people just like who they like. It's not about rebeling or conforming. If you like men, you like men. If you like women, you like women. If you like both, you like both. If you thought you only liked one, but then find someone of the other sex that you also really like, then that's just the way it is. Your personal beliefs don't really come in to other peoples relationships (Not being hostile or anything, just saying.)
I wish we could acknowledge that there are more than two genders in this world. I mean, yes, we only have two sexes (three actually, keeping in mind hermaphrodites), but we have way more genders than sexes. Your genital do not determine your gender. Why can't people understand that?
I agree with what he said in this video. I'm bisexual, I'm not horny 24/7 I'm just the same as everyone else on this planet. Love Knows No Gender. Please accept everyone the way they are. They shouldn't have to go to bed wondering what they did that was so wrong that everyone hates them.
Interesting. Science has now acknowledged that, yes, bisexual men exist. Not gay. Not straight. Labels gotta go. You are who you are. You like what you like. You love who you love. The important thing is to Love and Do No Harm.
the orientation titles are merely classifications & have ZERO relation to actual behavior; therefore none of them REALLY exist; there is almost ALWAYS a situation in which u would consciously break that classification, which may never happen; I think most are in between bisexual and hetero OR bi & homo but never the end or exactly in the middle; ex- I believe it is likely for someone who never has sex with the same sex to still NOT be completely straight; there is ALWAYS an exceptional situation
@oliveinny I agree! I mean why don't people say you have to pick ONE HAIR COLOR, like you're only allowed to date blondes, or red heads? I dunno why in this country, GENDER is the thing everything revolves around.
I'm bisexual and I hate it when people put us down for being this way. I'm more for the girls but I still kinda like guys. I don't like when people judge I fall in live with people for there personality not there gender.
I agree with you all the way I believe that someone define the man and the woman of a homosexual relationship is not right. If some really wants it to be a man and a woman relationship the go find a straight couple. And the thing about bisexuals, I hate it when people say pick a gender it annoys the crap out of me. Also I hate when people assume that Bisexuals like every single person that passes us, come on really? Don't be stupid people us the thing that inside of that noggin of yours,
Sorry for commenting so much but I'm doing so as I watch,
About the bisexual thing, sadly we live in a world where society thinks you MUST be one or the other, everything must be one extreme or ther other black or white, with no inbetweens or gray areas, Honestly it's FAR easier for me to believe that someone is bisexual than it is to believe that someone is totally gay or totally straight.
What sucks is it seems like most every relationship I've seen between a trans woman and a woman, the trans woman is STILL expected to "be the man" of the relationship, no matter what the personality is like. I just wish it could be like a TRUE homosexual relationship where roles are determined by the individual's personalities. But you hit the nail on the head I have a friend who's always asking me why don't I just be a guy since I like girls and I ask him once is being straight the ONLY way?
I am a trans woman and I'm attracted to women so I identify as lesbian and I get so tired of people saying, "Uh if you like girls why don't you just be a guy?" I'm seeking to have a lesbian relationship with a woman who will treat me and realte to me like another WOMAN and not as a man. And just b/c I identify as female does not mean I have to like men.
@TheMichlink Trans women can be straight, bisexual, lesbian, or assexual, just the same as non-transgendered women can. :) We are as diverse as all other women are.
@waxonify OMG YES I'm such A LADY FAGGOT! That is so clever in such an oxymoron kinda way, Yeah I am such a LADY FAGGOT! Here here for all us LADY FAGGOTS!
Bisexual people get a bad rap, but in my mind, it's easier to believe that the majority of people are bisexual and that very few people would be 100% gay or 100% straight. I'm bi and can't immagine ruling out every single member of a certain sex.
Im a girl and I'm bisexual...I've tried to tell my self I'm straight but I realized I'm not I'm bi and I am because I don't fall in love with looks I fall in love with personality and how they treat me and how much of a friend they r to me you can't tell me what I am or who I can like. What I hate is hearing stuff like being gay or a les or bisexual is wrong when to be honest it's not something u can control u can't pick what gender you like it just kinda happens. My friend knows I'm bi and was
I disagree - I'm more feminine and I always liked masculineguys and I don't have a problem with the "Who's the girl in your relationship" question. I always answer "well, I'm more feminine so you can say I'm the "girl" in a relationship" but people know it's not REALLY the same. It's not like I'm trying to copy a straight relationship, since there is a distinctive difference between a straight and gay relationship. Call it heteronormativity, whatever, I just think it's different for everybody.
@LukeBasarab I think gay relationships are much better that straight ones in most cases, b/c both partners can just be THEMSELVES, they don't have to follow any social gender roles or have any gender roles put on them, they can be natural. Like one partner is not required to be taller or stronger or the protector or the submissive one, etc.. There might be a partner who is those things but it's based on their personality.
@littlebit19801 I wouldn't say - gay relationships are better then straight ones, that's just insulting. I know a lot of great straight couples and a lot of terrible gay couples that cheat on each other an vice versa. Relationships are just hard (for some people) and I don't think it has anything to do with their sexuality.
Gender roles are engraved in our minds. A lot of gay guys hate the masculine/feminine stereotype but they fall right into it without even realizing.
@LukeBasarab Well I should clarify maybe, I think as far as "ROLES" gay people can be more free than straight people. Like if 2 lesbian women go out on a date the pressure of paying the dinner check or for the movie tickets is not always automatically on ONE woman. It could be either or both. I'm just saying it seems more relaxed.
@LukeBasarab I'm a trans woman and once I was interested in a girl who was taller than me, and someone remarked "Why would you want a gf who's taller than you?" Sadly I was still expected to BE THE MAN, whereas if I were a genetic female who was lesbian nothing out of the ordinary would have been said, it would have just been taller lesbian girl with shorter lesbian girl, you see that all the time. And i'm 5'4 so it's not hard to find girls taller than me. lol
@LukeBasarab And also, IMO I think 2 people of the same gender can just relate to eachother better. Not in all cases but just most of the time. Have you ever noticed like when a woman has had bad relationships with men, and then she turns to women, it's almost like a DREAM relationship.
you know the thing i hate being called most as a bi teenage guy?
"you're Bi? i cant believe that you're so greedy"
you know what i say to these people? - i sy "Fuck off" evn if thy are my friends, if they cant accept me for who i am then i don't want to hear their opinion. in fact i am beginning to think that i am actually gay.
@Hasbo2401 So what would these people say then??? "good at least now you are leaving some for everyone else", or maybe even "good good, now we can bee friends because you aren't weird anymore and i don't have to worry about you coming on to either me or my bf/gf"
sorry guys if that seemed a bit ranty but i hate it when people try to dictate to you what you are.
@Hasbo2401 for instance, i am sure there are plenty of Bi people out there who have had just as many relationships as the criticizers, maybe even less. ok im good now, its out of my system bit of a weird ending though, sorry :)
I'm a bisexual woman, and I hear, rarely, "Why don't bisexuals just choose to either be gay or straight?" Personally, and I can speak for a lot of bisexuals, the reason is because we fall in love with both genders, and we get sexually aroused with both. We get crushes on both. I've tried to force myself to be straight....but I still got wet, and fell in love with girls too. You can't force a sexuality. And you can't choose it. What you feel, just happens and comes naturally.
I think gendering a gay relationship is unnecessary, but if people are interested, I'm not shy to talk about it. I think it's unnecessary because I feel like most gay relationships are "versatile" but I have been with a share of partners who are strictly tops or strictly bottoms. It's no one's business, but whatever.
And the only things I'll say about bisexuality is it's for people who are greedy ;) and it's also slippery slope right down to gay.
It doesnt matter who is the 'man' & 'woman' in gay couple. The most important thing is they love each other. If a gay man married to a woman and he doesnt like her, no use right ???
child molestor.. its such a shame. if we had protected him from child abuse. @lovethecity123 if your parents hadn't molested you. you wouldn't be a pathetic crap eating child molestor now.. sadly.. its too late for you. all the crap you have been sniffing has seriously fucked you up
Thank you! I'm a Bi male and I agree. I appreciate both genders for their distinct characteristics. And anfrogeny is HOT. Anyone who disagrees, I point to: Prince, rapper Da Brat, shemale porn star Bailey Jay... All of which rock androgeny hella sexy.
@lovethecity123 many animals are retarded. big horn sheep whack each other in the head and monkey babies fall from trees. trauma and poisons are bad for living creatures and after major damage, faggotry ensues.. its pretty common.. it happened to you!!
My mom supports gays and lesbians but not bisexuals, i find this odd considering i agree with you...that it doesnt make sense to act like that...she thinks people who are bi think they are great and too good for everyone and that she understands how a homosexual could like someone and how someone who is straight could like someone but bisexuallity confuses her...and i think thats why she doesnt like it
This is the problem with the gay community, people like him try to speak for the entire population. Some gay people do think like that. Some guys do refer to themselves as a girl. I've known couples be like he's my wife...
..i love gays, no judgement here..but i think your friend was wondering whether or not your'e the top or the bottom... i think that saying that there are no assumed gender roles in gay relationships is being a bit dishonest though...a classic example of any gay relationships usually includes a slightly more effeminate male than the other.Bottoms tend to be more effeminate than their partners...so please don't bury your head in the sand to avoid a valid question.
I sometimes wonder if when people ask that question that if what they're really asking who's the top and who's the bottom. And if that's the case than its still quite invasive and disrespectful. Also to those who claim one cannot be Bi-sexual.. that is just as ignorant as claiming there is something wrong with someone for being gay. Even if the person saying it is in fact gay.
I'm bisexual. I love both women and men, physically and emotionally. I am not a gay person in denial. I am not a str8 person in denial. I am bi, and I love myself.
@histrav youre a faggot right? so answer this? i dont agree with sodomy so how can someone be gay & not engage in sodomy? is that possible? i mean, if you just think youre a fag but dont butt fuck, how is that different from being friends, brother, father or whatever? arent you really only gay when you insert your cock into another mans ass or make them suck your swantz & bust a load in their face? so what i am really saying isnt gay the consequence of butt fuckery and not just a thought?
Life expectancy for a 20 year old gay or bisexual man is 8 to 20 years less than all men. The authors estimate that " nearly half of gay and bisexual men currently age 20 years will not reach their 65th birthday." Source: Hogg. RS., Strathdee, SA., Craib, KJP., O'Shaughnessy, MV., Montainer, JSG., Schechter, MT., " Modeling the impact of HIV Disease on Mortality in Gay and Bisexual Men," International Journal of Epidemiology, Vol. 26, No. 3, 1997, pp. 657-61.
Homosexuals do not want you to know that many of them were sexually abused when young, because many people who were so abused go on to molest others. And homosexuals do not want you to know that they are more likely to molest children than heterosexuals are. Ray Blanchard, et al., "Fraternal Birth Order and Sexual Orientation in Pedophiles," Archives of Sexual Behavior 29 (2000), p. 464
Sexuality isn't who you are 'turned on' by. It's a natural biological fact that even if a gay man grabs a straight mans penis, the penis with harden, merlley because of contact. It is a biological fact!
I've known gays who liked to have sex with women, I've known straights that experimented with their bi-curiosity. I've known transsexuals, transvestites, and asexuals. I've known people for whom sex with another person is nothing more than masturbation without being alone. I've had married friends that are incapable of monogamy. Being gay or straight to me is more of a social-political statement than a biological one. Humans are hypersexual.
sometimes 1 partner may b more masculine or feminine than the other and they may naturally fall into a sort of gender role. If u r bi then it may be a case that u r naturally attracted to both races and can b turned on by both.
Honestly, I don't hate anyone, but I don't think I'd date a bisexual girl. I feel like she'd just break my heart. Maybe I feel this way because I've never met a bi girl who didn't date boys and just want a fuck-buddy on the side.
I totally get that whole man-woman in the relationship thing. I swear to God, I can't stand it. And that whole assumption that we're overly horny? Annoying.
@Adski92 i used to be straight then i tried bi for a while but women were still chasing my wallet so i decided to go gay. all the carefree man-ass sex i can get. it's awesome. one thing i particularly like is when my boyfriend slowly sinks his cock into my ass and rocks gently on his toes. after sometime he starts to pump hard and when he cums he dumps on my chest or wipes himself on my hair. thumbs up if that turns you on too.
i want to thank all those gays and bisexual men who have contacted me privately and for the good times. we all know that many of us gays love penetrative anal, daisy chains and really like cum swapping. If you're gay and into penetrative anal or cum swapping get in touch. why not check out some gay porn cum swappers to warm you up then say hello
@Adski92 yep. poor poor fags and bi faggots. sorry for the horrible comments. its not your fault you went gay. childhood abuse must be a horrible thing. sorry to all the fags and bi faggots
i totally agree n disagree on that part(bisexual)cuase trust me i think its just wierd because whther bi or not bi there is one that overules the other ie maybe preffer men more than women,or tha other way round anywayz nice topic...
@beast91ify Actually, not really. And in some ways yes. It really depends on the mood you're in. Sometimes you feel like apples. Sometimes you feel like pears. There are parts of the year where I eat a lot of pizza, then get sick of it and move over to pasta. Always bi. But sometimes inclined toward men, but othertimes the touch of a woman really hits the spot. It's not a permanent perfect 50/50. But it's not 30/70 either. Sometimes it's 70/30. Then back to 50/50. Mey mho
@beast91ify part 2. Not to say we can't be lowyal and just change on a whim either. Love plays an important part. Sometimes a straight guy will eye off other women in the shop.,but that doesn't mean he'll leave his wife. They've built something more important with eachother (hopefully).
We're living in an age where even hetero couples are questioning traditional gender roles. Almost everyone has character qualities traditionally attributed to both genders. For instance, I'm a woman, and I'm very emotionally sensitive, but I don't care too much about how I look. Any guy I end up with (I'm straight) will probably have a different mix of attributes, and we'd just have to learn to figure out what our dynamic is based on who we are, not on a stereotype.
I'm Bi sexual. To be more specific, I'm a Pansexual. :) Simply meaning I recognize transgendered individuals as their own gender of being whatever they feel/ want to be. I've been with men and women. I actually believe that there is a higher percentage of people who are bisexual, but just don't want to admit. I find it odd that both gay and straight people don't know how bisexuality works. I've been asked "So, are you gay/straight now?" Depending on who I'm with. Doesn't work like that, guys :)
I never really thought about asking someone if they are the man or the woman in a Homosexual relationship before, It is really non of my business what people do in their sexual life. As for bisexuality I think too many people use being bi as an excuse to not have to say they are completely homosexual I know this is not the case for everyone but it seems like a lot of people do this. I myself am extremely attracted to the opposite sex but I have only ever had sex with my husband.
ahh character limits... but...um like the begging of my first comment implied, I don't Identify myself, I don't believe in gender bias stereotypes.. maybe I sound like a hypocrite because i used some of these bias in my first post.. but I truly don't ... I'm one of your activist that fights for "LGBT" rights and equality ... picked outside voting booths... and congress... ;-) a human is a human.. why do we need all these labels..
I suppose If I had to identify myself ....1.I would say that I'm a bi-sexual female....I like both girls & boys 2.gender wise..when it comes to either being the male or the female in a relationship as u put it,people assume I'm the "girl" because of of appearances..but in reality I'm way less of a "girl" than then person I date. I get ready faster, I dont tend to be the cook (just luck i guess) ..etc
As of today ( Bisexual Pride Day ) I am moving up on the bisexual world to Bi Gender Bi Sexual..... meaning I am considering myself BOTH a Man AND a Woman.. I am mostly Physically Male but I have Some Female Physical Traits as well ) ANDDDDD I also go both ways too.. I Like Boi's & I like Girls
Some straight people don't understand what it's like to be gay.Gay people have been fighting for recognition and equality for years now.For a gay person to dismiss and stand against bi-sexuals is like taking all the pride and work the gay community has done and throwing them in the dumpster. How can one feel bad about not being understood and discriminating someone at the same time? I hate the question "Are you ok with.." It's like I need some sort of approval to be who I naturally am.Just sad
i don't know...look at ellen degeneres n her "wife", ellen is the guy in the relationship. anyways, i'm very bisexual, pansexual even. i hope all have a happy day. hugz :) xoxoxoxo
@Sujey106 I’m a half Asian half Jewish gay man and my boyfriend is a blue eyed blonde body builder who shaves his entire body. a couple of times while I was rimming him and giving him a bbj I found dark hairs under his foreskin and I got really upset about it. He pointed out that my butt hairs matched and that they got trapped under his foreskin. Now I bleach and wax my hole so I will know next time I find dark hair on his cock its somebody else’s.
I think it's ridiculous that people would even ask a gay man who is the "man" in the relationship. And why would someone just assume that a man is secretly a woman in a guy's body? I guess what they really want to be asking is "who's the top and who's the bottom," but that right there is a very personal question and can be just as rude. Meh, people are silly.
People shouldn't talk about LGBT if they want to leave out the B. It's so weird how so many in the LGBT community don't believe bisexuals exists, or won't date bisexuals because we might leave them for the opposite sex, and likewise straight people won't date bisexuals because we might leave them for the same sex. Really, monogamy has nothing to do with orientation. Who you're with is who you're with. And we shouldn't be asked to pick a side.
To be honest, I don't see how bisexuality, homosexuality, and heterosexuality are any different on their base level... it's like asking the difference between different brands of the same cereal. All healthy romantic relationships are based on mutual love. Saying that one option is of a higher moral base than the others undermines the kind of love that supports the existence of all of them. So, respect the lifestyle choices. Except the ones that are totally wrong, you know like religion. xD
@BrianHJones1976 True, but just because someone is bisexual doesn't mean they like it all at once. That's like saying if someone doesn't mind dating a redhead OR a blonde, that must mean they like "both at the same time".. No, doesn't mean that at all..
@phxflyguy • Abused [male] adolescents, particularly those victimized by males, were up to 7 times more likely to self-identify as gay or bisexual than peers who had not been abused. W.C. Holmes and G.B. Slap, "Sexual Abuse of Boys," JAMA, Dec. 2, 1998, p. 1859.
@phxflyguy no, its more like going to a ben an jerry and asking who is the fudge and who is the fudgepacker! or.. its like asking who is the hot dog and who is the bun!
@BrianHerman1997 funny how you faggots correlate ass with fucking.. you dumb child molesting ball fondling perverts.. poopers are for pooping not for porking.. you retarded faggot!
@MrSnatchfan The fact that you are commenting here shows that you are psychologically disturbed and a self-loathing closeted homosexual.... Get some help you poor sad person.
No, You're seriously mistaken. Asking faggots which one is the roll and which one is the hot dog is more like going to a barbeque restaurant and asking which faggot is the meat and which one is the skewer!
@everyonegetsdizzy You are a disgusting pervert! And why the hell are you even watching this video and commenting on it?? You should deal with your self-loathing and repressed homosexuality...
@1strate2ndcourse dude, YOU ARE IGNORANT (but you knew that) and part of the problem. People fear what they dont understand, and are too lazy to do the research, (sounds like someone you know perhaps??). Either way, you sound very afraid and in the dark. I feel for you, but not that much. I am not judging you, just making an observation. I respect that you have an opinion, but frankly my cats are more enlightened than you. The rocks in my garden are more enlightened, I think...yeah.
@neil22100 No? I guess I don't exist. That's weird. I feel weird. The food I eat taste like it's really going through to my stomach. Huh, guess not. Thanks for opening my eyes. I don't exist!
Bisexual is a pretty word to ostracize people. I don't brand myself as a bissexual nor do i have to. If someone were to ask me i would say i love who i love. And the funniest thing is that bissexuals support the gays but on the other way around gays don't.
man im reading some of these comments and yall are complicating things! pan bi wtf? im bisexual! simple as that. stop using all these fancy dancy words and complicating things its annoying. gay lesbian bisexual transgender thats super duper simple.
may sound ignorant. but can a bisexual be satisfied with a monogamous heterosexual relationship? I guess it's my own insecurities because I can compete with another woman... but I can't give what a male can haha. sooo thoughts? thanks.
@daniellepellegrino1 yeh sure :) a bisexual person knows that women and men can't give them the same things sexually, but sex isn't the whole basis of a relationship as i'm sure you know. the chances of a bisexual person being unhappy in a heterosexual relationship are no more than a straight person's chances :) if they like/love you, that's all that matters :)
All you haters need to keep your opinions to yourself. If you don't understand then don't comment. I'm bisexual and have been for all my life. I'm now 57 years old so don't think we're going away any time soon. If you are of the belief that it should be men and women to procreate you might want to rethink that. Personally, with the state of the world today, I wouldn't want to subject any more human beings to all the hate, racism, bigotry, ignorance and so forth.
As far as bisexuality, or heterosexuality, or homosexuality goes, we are who we are. I think labels can be too binding... I first tell people im bi to be clear I guess but then explain, well not really, im me as in, mesexual. I like what I like and no one else is exactly the same. Agreed, 100%. Bisexuality is no more a choice than homosexuuality or heterosexuality. This is just common sense.

DragonLcver 2 weeks ago
Being a Bisexual Male, I've never had any problem with the gendering thing. But I have had lots of people ask me about being bisexual. And the question I seem to get the most is, " So like boys and girl, but you lean more towards blank?" This for me is something that pisses me off. I don't think you can consider yourself Bisexual if your lean towards one sex or the other, or is that wrong?
YasonRoven 2 weeks ago
@YasonRoven When it comes down to it, 'bisexuality' is a label. More to help others understand what you're attracted to than for yourself. Someone can definately be on the border of gay/bi or straight/bi, and they are fully in their own right to assume whichever 'label' they think works best. So long as they feel comfortable with it and don't feel they're lying to themselves or others by saying it.

Bisexuality is an orientation. Just like Homosexuality, Heterosexuality, Pan/Omnisexuality, Asexuality, etc.
If there were a "man" and a "woman" in a GAY relationship... then that kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it?
GenerationBright 2 weeks ago
I've come out pansexual to my peers, (bisexual, actually, because pansexual would be too hard to explain to those morons) and EVERY TIME they either back up like I have a disease, tell me it's a sin to God, or ask "So, you want to do me, right?". FFFFF--
Aside from that mini rant, bisexuality, pansexuality, asexuality, all sexualities are totally okay and natural. We really aren't different from anyone else.
TheActorWithNoLines 2 weeks ago 5
This isn't a normal question for me but now that you talk about it, it is really an eye opener bc although I don't talk about it I see relationships in a female/male sort of role thing no matter what the sex is, which is weird huh? I was raised with this mentality so I guess it's hard to break idk. But no matter what someones sexuality is I do not judge them bc of it. I accept them for who they are as a person.
melizmoto 2 weeks ago

PassTheMarmalade1957 3 weeks ago
@creektimothy Really, I think people just like who they like. It's not about rebeling or conforming. If you like men, you like men. If you like women, you like women. If you like both, you like both. If you thought you only liked one, but then find someone of the other sex that you also really like, then that's just the way it is. Your personal beliefs don't really come in to other peoples relationships (Not being hostile or anything, just saying.)
PassTheMarmalade1957 3 weeks ago
I wish we could acknowledge that there are more than two genders in this world. I mean, yes, we only have two sexes (three actually, keeping in mind hermaphrodites), but we have way more genders than sexes. Your genital do not determine your gender. Why can't people understand that?

the orientation titles are merely classifications & have ZERO relation to actual behavior; therefore none of them REALLY exist; there is almost ALWAYS a situation in which u would consciously break that classification, which may never happen; I think most are in between bisexual and hetero OR bi & homo but never the end or exactly in the middle; ex- I believe it is likely for someone who never has sex with the same sex to still NOT be completely straight; there is ALWAYS an exceptional situation

About the bisexual thing, sadly we live in a world where society thinks you MUST be one or the other, everything must be one extreme or ther other black or white, with no inbetweens or gray areas, Honestly it's FAR easier for me to believe that someone is bisexual than it is to believe that someone is totally gay or totally straight.
littlebit19801 1 month ago
What sucks is it seems like most every relationship I've seen between a trans woman and a woman, the trans woman is STILL expected to "be the man" of the relationship, no matter what the personality is like. I just wish it could be like a TRUE homosexual relationship where roles are determined by the individual's personalities. But you hit the nail on the head I have a friend who's always asking me why don't I just be a guy since I like girls and I ask him once is being straight the ONLY way?
littlebit19801 1 month ago
I am a trans woman and I'm attracted to women so I identify as lesbian and I get so tired of people saying, "Uh if you like girls why don't you just be a guy?" I'm seeking to have a lesbian relationship with a woman who will treat me and realte to me like another WOMAN and not as a man. And just b/c I identify as female does not mean I have to like men.

Bisexual people get a bad rap, but in my mind, it's easier to believe that the majority of people are bisexual and that very few people would be 100% gay or 100% straight. I'm bi and can't immagine ruling out every single member of a certain sex.

My friend knows I'm bi and was
airsoftkiller17 1 month ago
I disagree - I'm more feminine and I always liked masculineguys and I don't have a problem with the "Who's the girl in your relationship" question. I always answer "well, I'm more feminine so you can say I'm the "girl" in a relationship" but people know it's not REALLY the same. It's not like I'm trying to copy a straight relationship, since there is a distinctive difference between a straight and gay relationship. Call it heteronormativity, whatever, I just think it's different for everybody.
LukeBasarab 1 month ago
@LukeBasarab I think gay relationships are much better that straight ones in most cases, b/c both partners can just be THEMSELVES, they don't have to follow any social gender roles or have any gender roles put on them, they can be natural. Like one partner is not required to be taller or stronger or the protector or the submissive one, etc.. There might be a partner who is those things but it's based on their personality.
littlebit19801 1 month ago
@littlebit19801 I wouldn't say - gay relationships are better then straight ones, that's just insulting. I know a lot of great straight couples and a lot of terrible gay couples that cheat on each other an vice versa. Relationships are just hard (for some people) and I don't think it has anything to do with their sexuality.
Gender roles are engraved in our minds. A lot of gay guys hate the masculine/feminine stereotype but they fall right into it without even realizing.
LukeBasarab 1 month ago
@LukeBasarab Well I should clarify maybe, I think as far as "ROLES" gay people can be more free than straight people. Like if 2 lesbian women go out on a date the pressure of paying the dinner check or for the movie tickets is not always automatically on ONE woman. It could be either or both. I'm just saying it seems more relaxed.
littlebit19801 1 month ago
@LukeBasarab I'm a trans woman and once I was interested in a girl who was taller than me, and someone remarked "Why would you want a gf who's taller than you?" Sadly I was still expected to BE THE MAN, whereas if I were a genetic female who was lesbian nothing out of the ordinary would have been said, it would have just been taller lesbian girl with shorter lesbian girl, you see that all the time. And i'm 5'4 so it's not hard to find girls taller than me. lol
littlebit19801 1 month ago
@LukeBasarab And also, IMO I think 2 people of the same gender can just relate to eachother better. Not in all cases but just most of the time. Have you ever noticed like when a woman has had bad relationships with men, and then she turns to women, it's almost like a DREAM relationship.
littlebit19801 1 month ago

I am bisexual, and I can't imagine not being attracted to both men and women.

ahh character limits... but...um like the begging of my first comment implied, I don't Identify myself, I don't believe in gender bias stereotypes.. maybe I sound like a hypocrite because i used some of these bias in my first post.. but I truly don't ... I'm one of your activist that fights for "LGBT" rights and equality ... picked outside voting booths... and congress... ;-) a human is a human.. why do we need all these labels..
eirelav103 4 months ago
I suppose If I had to identify myself ....1.I would say that I'm a bi-sexual female....I like both girls & boys 2.gender wise..when it comes to either being the male or the female in a relationship as u put it,people assume I'm the "girl" because of of appearances..but in reality I'm way less of a "girl" than then person I date. I get ready faster, I dont tend to be the cook (just luck i guess) ..etc

AndyMan4000 4 months ago
People shouldn't talk about LGBT if they want to leave out the B. It's so weird how so many in the LGBT community don't believe bisexuals exists, or won't date bisexuals because we might leave them for the opposite sex, and likewise straight people won't date bisexuals because we might leave them for the same sex. Really, monogamy has nothing to do with orientation. Who you're with is who you're with. And we shouldn't be asked to pick a side.
prodigychild1988 4 months ago 2
To be honest, I don't see how bisexuality, homosexuality, and heterosexuality are any different on their base level... it's like asking the difference between different brands of the same cereal. All healthy romantic relationships are based on mutual love. Saying that one option is of a higher moral base than the others undermines the kind of love that supports the existence of all of them. So, respect the lifestyle choices. Except the ones that are totally wrong, you know like religion. xD

There is NOTHNG WRONG with liking dicks and pussy all at once!!!!!
BrianHJones1976 4 months ago
@BrianHJones1976 True, but just because someone is bisexual doesn't mean they like it all at once. That's like saying if someone doesn't mind dating a redhead OR a blonde, that must mean they like "both at the same time".. No, doesn't mean that at all..

Dear World,
Asking who's the "man" and who's the "woman" in a gay relationship is like going to a Chinese restaurant and asking which chopstick is the fork.
Sincerely,

@phxflyguy • Abused [male] adolescents, particularly those victimized by males, were up to 7 times more likely to self-identify as gay or bisexual than peers who had not been abused. W.C. Holmes and G.B. Slap, "Sexual Abuse of Boys," JAMA, Dec. 2, 1998, p. 1859.

Bisexual is a pretty word to ostracize people. I don't brand myself as a bissexual nor do i have to. If someone were to ask me i would say i love who i love. And the funniest thing is that bissexuals support the gays but on the other way around gays don't.

may sound ignorant. but can a bisexual be satisfied with a monogamous heterosexual relationship? I guess it's my own insecurities because I can compete with another woman... but I can't give what a male can haha. sooo thoughts? thanks.
daniellepellegrino1 5 months ago
@daniellepellegrino1 yeh sure :) a bisexual person knows that women and men can't give them the same things sexually, but sex isn't the whole basis of a relationship as i'm sure you know. the chances of a bisexual person being unhappy in a heterosexual relationship are no more than a straight person's chances :) if they like/love you, that's all that matters :)
falks941 4 months ago
All you haters need to keep your opinions to yourself. If you don't understand then don't comment. I'm bisexual and have been for all my life. I'm now 57 years old so don't think we're going away any time soon. If you are of the belief that it should be men and women to procreate you might want to rethink that. Personally, with the state of the world today, I wouldn't want to subject any more human beings to all the hate, racism, bigotry, ignorance and so forth.
